Hello, wha skill do you use to trigger the Primal InstinctRelic Skill? The Doom Bolt has a long cooldown and physical attacks are a bit dangerous for a caster.
I use Solael’s Flame, the granted skill from the Symbol of Solael. No cooldown, decent damage, reduces their vit/chaos resist for more damage.
Of course, it’ll trigger off anything you do that counts as an attack; whatever spammable attack you have access to, use that when you’re not using something else. Most of the weapon components have fairly cheap and useful skills.
Curse of Frailty
The Curse triggers it too? Since it doesnt cause damage i didnt think it would work.
Still counts as an attack (and can crit, too), much like Flashbang.
Anything that negatively affects an enemy counts as an attack. I use this build and I kill most nemeses, guardian bosses, and mad queen with little if any difficulty. Doom bolt, curse of frailty, and OFF will all trigger the relic’s swarmlings alongside whatever other skills you get from weapon components (as long as it does something deleterious to the target).
I dont clearly see the minions attack cause they are small but since i use this relic enemies seem to go down much faster, for some reason those little bugs seem even more dangerous than my regular pets.
You can get up to six of them out at a time and they get buffed by both your bonuses to all pets as well as any auras you and your pets produce. So for example, if you take the hellhound and hellfire talents, they’ll get the same buff to fire damage as you get from it. Since they do some pretty substantial fire damage, they can crank out some pretty amazing damage if you go full pet spec.
Yes, the author of the pokemon build stated there were path conflicts with other pets, but i tested it and didnt have any, i assume thats something that may have been fixed.
