The name has to start with Were right? It’s hard to combine it with Wendigo or Manticore

A Werebear? (pronounced either wearbear or werebere) What else were berserkers going to transfom into.
Wendigo definitely.
For shapeshifting stereotypy? Wolves. (Despite “berserk” meaning “bear hide”.) For fanciful? Wolverines. For dawning horror? Fishers.
EDIT: I get the odd feeling I’m looking at a bird on my left. Were-eagle? Were-gyrfalcon? Were-vulture?
