Today while playing around, came up with an idea to create a new character(currently have 2 existing characters).
After clicking create following naming the character and such, I noticed no characters were being created which made me wonder, “Is there a maximum number of characters users can create (2)” and are there plans to increase this limit?
There isn’t a hard limit as far as I can tell. And if there was, it would certainly be larger than two.
Not sure if this is the case, but if you aren’t being able to create more characters, make sure that your save folder is not set as “read only”.
The limit is the size of your harddrive.
I’m going to guess 255. 
But whatever the limit is, you can move around the character files themselves if it gets crazy, in which case it becomes the size of your hard drive like Ceno says.
I restarted and saw the characters I created earlier.
This might be down to my machine or just a random bug.:undecided:
