What's up with the site's title?

The site’s title, “Grim Dawn” appears to be in a shade in-line with Crucible. While it looks cool, my query is on the shape which lies behind the text. That shape, in its entirety, looks like an elongated continent.

<Inception hat on> Is that an indicator to the areas on the World of Cairn map, which we haven’t been exposed to so far? <Inception hat off>

Chances are, that I’m over-reading into a site layout element. However, if I’m right, then Crate team is more than cool then what I give them credit for! Not that they aren’t cool now too.

I’m a bit confused as to where you’re seeing this?

Hi Dargenus,

I was referring to the attached picture, which is a snapshot of the game’s title seen on the top centre side of the site when you visit it.

It seems I may have gushed a bit too much at my apparent discovery. However, I may very well be wrong. See the snapshot and lemme know if you see anything too?

It just looks like a splatter/grunge pattern to me. I can see where you’re getting the topographic feel, but there is probably no correlation to anything except that the devs thought it looked nice.

@Druthers: A “topographic feel”. Hmm, that’s a nice way to sum it up. Though I was wrong, your explanation does make sense. However, if I were right, man, that would’ve been something real creative secret up there :stuck_out_tongue:
