Hello
Today I want to talk about the Malakor’s Infusion AGAIN
and why they don’t let me live in peace
Some GD players say that Malakor’s Infusion is OP
but personally, I think that the Malakor’s Infusion are just a good weapon, with a slight bias in melee
We all know that we have Ugdenbog Chillstrife and Bargoll’s Heart
which gives damage to aura or RR
and both of them are green items
And finally a purple weapon with similar characteristics appeared in patch 1.0.7.1
it would be very nice if Malakor’s Infusion could be made a universal weapon for any combinations with an Inquisitor
because now Malakor’s Infusion are very powerful only for melee-builds based on speed attacks, soldiers and demo
This fucked up item allowed me to make a build that I called “190RR Do-nothing Infiltrator as motherfuck”. Seriously, you just use all your combo on a boss once, then you just stay and watch like it was a movie. I even maxed Blade Spirit to maximize the “do-nothing” part.
I’ll actually share it here: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/O2GQaPlZ
I even killed Lokarr. I was only avoiding his skills and that was enough. With staying only, 125 - 135% cold RR (135 if relic procs), so there’s no reason to even cast skills, sometimes. WoP only for proccing elemental seeker. It’s just so stupid… Oh, this character is also kind of tanky. Or durable, rather. Average DPS is 45k iirc, with only VoS and AoC
If there’ll be someone that actually asks for a “regular attack” for that build - your regular attack is not holding your keyboard or mouse.
I actually hate this item more than I hate inquisitor.
It is weird that the benefit-packed AoC skill seems to get much more item attention than other similar aura skills such as Nightblade Veil of Shadow. Not that VoS should…but Inquisitor AoC does seem to be consistently overdone. There are underused inquis skills that are not auto-auras and could be used creatively for item bonuses…such as the various Runes, HoG or FoI - skills that require a button to activate.
