I am just no good at melee builds, so I appeal to all in the forum to help me with this one – a cold/vitality reaper.

I have no large amount of end-game mythical, MI or what; everything I have so far is self-found. Right now I am at the Rotting Croplands, and in Veteran being surrounded means my HP drops to half in a few seconds until I hit healing.
Is it because I have poor equipment? Bad synergy between Reaping Strike and Blast Burst? Should I put more into defense?
Any help will be appreciated.

Your build is a spellbreaker not a reaper.
