What's your favorite Crucible map?

Just pick one overall favorite.

(but I selected multiple choice poll, so if you want to pick 2, it should work)

Wow, was thinking about creating such a poll myself.

Sands, definitely Sands. Although I like Deeps as well, so I’ll pick these two.

I foresee very few votes for Grove.

I wonder why.

I foresaw very few votes for Dead, cuz it’s so small and gets flooded by enemies easily, making it very hard to kite. Grove is the same, but more opportunities to kite due to map being more complex. But judging by poll I was very wrong :undecided:

Voted Dead, cause I ran it most with my battlemage. Aspirant difficulty, extra spawns, 4x lightning towers (1st level) to help with clearing out the weaker mobs (little AoE on char), start with wave 100, one attack blessing at wave 120, clear to 150, then do (130-150)x3 on that one blessing still going. In Aspirant there’s no need to kite, and no walls = faster time monster and me end in one place.

He can do challenger extra spawns also, in which case I switch to the Deeps, and put HP banner lvl 3 at the center, and two lightning towers lvl1 on sides. It’s much more harder, longer, and require multiple blessing purchases, though. I don’t like doing challenger

Grove and Sands are more ranged/kiting friendly, just didn’t use my conjurer guy in Crucible much. Cleared aspirant, and forgot about it for now. Grove has only 3 spots for altars/towers, despite being pretty big, suppose that’s why people don’t like it much.

Dead is best for farming efficiency if you have the right build for it, that’s why. But for the aspect of it i chose sands and deeps.

I like how grove looks very much, perhaps the most or very close to sands but damn it’s annoying to chase monsters that remain in their spawning area. I might be however the safest map for the last 2 waves.

the dead because its the most fps friendly, at least to me:rolleyes:

TBH I wish we had one without the excess scenery. It looks pretty, but then you just get monsters trying to shoot you through a wall, or a monster that gets stuck on the edge of the spawn area trying to leave…Then you gotta go chase them down…

I’d rather have a single spawn at the end of a corridor, and there you go. Done. Simple, and effective.

Put me down for anything but grove.

It’s less running around and more fighting!

Dead for its straightforwardness, Sands for how it looks. Sands on the other hand is the worst navigation wise in my opinion.
