When did You Start Considering Yourself a Good Player at Grim Dawn?

I could list many reasons.

Go on then.

I still have no idea what I’m doing but it’s fun.

First define your criteria for “good”.

I’m just good even when i sux ,

so my mum told me.

After ~1500 hours of playtime I still not consider myself as a good player :frowning:

But I was a bit proud of myself when I managed to beat the game on Hardcore Ultimate

Maybe after another 1500 hours…

That’s just it. It’s an opinionated question. So when did you consider yourself good at the game?

Damn dude. Congratz!

Then I have no opinion.

I like bananas.

Only when I was able to start doing things like… This!

Haven’t yet and never will.

I am actively focusing on how terrible I can be at this game and still take on everything it has to offer.

So maybe once GD2 launches… we will see…

Way to go, Kubacabra Slayer! Bad-ass soundtrack!

On the margin, one definition of a “good player” (of games controlled by a mouse) is when you hit the 150 eAPM threshold (effective Actions Per Minute - doesn’t include spam clicks and misclicks). It applies mostly to RTS but could be a subjective measure of ow well you pilot in aRPG too.

In GD, I’ll consider myself good when I know basic functionality of every item and skill in the game and be able to apply it to any build concept in my head. Probably never.

I’ll let you know when it happens.

Dunno about good but I’d say that once you can assemble builds in your head without absolutely needing GrimTools and can just glance at most item names and know whether you want/need 'em (while leveling) then I’d say you more or less know what’s what.

Being “good” is subective. You can say you’re good because you beat the game on Ultimate with only a few deaths (or none at all), or you can consider Good as in killing mogdrogen in 1 min or less.

Anyways, this topic smells like a stealth bragging topic.

I’d consider myself good if I could level 1-50 in 3 hours like the guy on youtube and then make it to max level having died less than ten times.

I consider myself having completed successfully a build if I can complete the rogue dungeons and kill aetherial, chthonic, and undead nemesis.

I don’t know what you mean. I mean, when I just bought the game I already were the best Grim Dawn player in the world, I was never just “good”.

Sarcasm overflow.

As stealthy as shoes made of air horns.
