When should I start the Forgotten God's Content?

Hi guys,

Just started GD again after a long break and started a character from scratch. Just wondering when is best to start the FG content? Should I finish all old game content first?

Smoothest progression is GD - AoM - FG.

If you want to follow the Stories as accurate as possible you go there after you finished the Ashes of Malmouth content. Some NPCs will reference your Victory in Malmouth and one particular Questline can only be finished after you did that NPCs quests in the Ashes of Malmouth content.
