I tried to uninstall my game once. The uninstaller was kind enough to ask me if I want to keep my game saves, but since usually an uninstaller would ask me to delete my stuff instead so I didn’t read the warning and chose No without hestitation. Lost my Deathmark and Ultos set that day.
Anyway use some recovery software, if you haven’t overwritten anything over it then it should 90% work.
Why would you lose them in the first place, though?
This is a divine punishment from Empyrion, heheheh.
Still prefer to keep steam purchases to a minimum, I don’t want to give that fat turd my money if he’s going to waste it on making stupid card games.
I was half asleep and had messed up something with importing TQ Assets so had to do dbr thing all over again and decided to uninstall. Unfortunately I must’ve clicked “No” when I was prompted with the choice to retain my saves
Not an issue, I am always prepared for this stuff and had a backup made. I loose a week’s worth of progress which isn’t much as I only did 1 long play session. So 2 or 3 long sessions should solve this for most of my characters.
I did however loose Mythical Bloodrager Pieces for my Bleed Warder and lost all my 85-100 progress on the Warder (which was done in one long play session)
There is an upside and a downside to steam cloud save, I had no internet last week for around 5 hours. I wanted to log into Grim Dawn, I have cloud save. When I tried it said cant load from cloud save, if you start it could delete the saves in cloud save proceed yes or no. I said no and waited around 5hrs, until the net was back up.
Yeah the ceo of steam needs to stop putting boring card games on steam, like hearthstone. And he is not all there in the head. There is a game called house party that was taken down for a short time, because there were some scenes that sjw/feminists, wanted censured, so the game was taken down. The ceo of the game patched those scenes, and the game is back on steam. There is a patch though on the game website, to take away the censure of those scenes.
If sjw/feminists wanted me to take something down, I would say no and walk away. But he was looking at the money, and said yes. But him saying no would in contrary give him more money, when I heard this I started to try to not buy games on steam. If the game is only coming out on steam then I have no choice, but if I can avoid it I do now.
Next Grim Dawn expansion going to be a card game?
CONFIRMED!
