After countless SR runs I burnt out all of my soul shards from multiple characters and realized that I’ve never really farmed for them and don’t know where it even drops.
The fastest way to get them is “shopping run” between Blood Grove vendor (who sells them) and Homestead vendor. This way you can also buy a number of other valuable reagents.
They also drop from Chtonics.

I tried BoC but the drop wasn’t really good, I barely got one full component per run. The vendors look very promising indeed.
I get 3-5 per run. You should be really unlucky to get only one. But vendor is even better, of course.
