I am looking for bounties that I should watch out for. One in my mind is the Dominators bounty of Homestead and Order of Death’s Vigil because dominators are somewhat hard to find.
Anything that requires me to kill a given hero is a bounty I avoid. The boss bounties aren’t as bad but I also skip them unless I have a desire to go kill that boss for some other reason (e.g. bloodfeast, because you can get two quests to kill him at once).
Typically the more of an enemy the bounty wants me to kill the more likely I am to do it, because it’s an easier to find spawn. 50 dermapteran weavils? sure thing buddy! That’s like 3 flash freezes out in the fields. Hunt down 3 aetherial commanders? only if I’m already going through a place that might have them, and even then maybe not.
All of them.
I generally prioritise bosses with fixed spawns or spawns inside of small areas like the Dermapteran Viziers or the Reanimator inside of Malmouth’s Lighthouse as they are easy to find.
This, except the ones that spawn an extra hero in the path of an existing farming run. Like the Cronley one that drops a hero right next to Darius, free loot.
I will generally suffer through kill bounties if I really need faction, but I absolutely refuse to do those stupid “bring me a relic/rare component” bounties.
All of them, lol.
I never realy do them unless i want the rep done. I feel like bounties need a rework, and maybe morph the bounty in such a way that it will become a farming run and not just a “target aquiered” type of run. I would seriously do them now if the ironbits reward was good. :o
See I am totally the opposite here because “bring me a shrubbery rare mat/relic” quests are done in 30 seconds and typically give a shitload of rep. It’s super worth it if you’re like me, with ~100 of each mat sitting in the bank.
I’m incredibly stingy and prone to saving mats/components until I have committed to something REALLY worthwhile with them (in my opinion) like a relic craft chain or craftable legendary. Also lots of “saving it for a rainy day” mentality (bleeds over into hoarding certain greens ad absurdum)
This, I never do bounties unless I’m right on the edge of a faction bonus level and I need something from the faction vendor.
My favorite part of bounties is when you get revered and pass on the 100% bonus to your other toons you don’t need bounties anymore
