Which Farming Method do You Engage in the Most?

Feel free to explain why if you want to. I mostly farm in the main game and really only use crucible for testing out my characters build when it’s min/maxed.

After my fourth character I stopped farming, just play to make the build done. Most items I need are already farmed by me or I just can get them from my friend. Or just through trade.

I don’t even own the crucible expansion.

Lately i’ve been farming as much as possible from one created game. All roguelikes, try to find all nemesises in addition to other lucrative areas/bosses (Malkadarr, Sentinel, Krieg-bosses etc).

Crucible for gear to trade for mats
MC for mats when there’s no one to trade
MC for purple MIs

When I’m searching for “blueprints” or MI’s I farm Nemesis in the main campaign.

I don’t like crucible. I find it incredibly boring. It’s not for me.

Main game. That said, I tend not to farm these days as much as I just frequently roll new characters and see what drops for them once I hit Ultimate. The number of items I still don’t have at this point is far too small for farming to be really worth it, since the chance of something new dropping is almost nonexistent. Still, its fun to blast through areas with maxed out characters from time to time.

Campaign.

Aside from a few specific items, we can farm wherever in Ultimate, which is great, because there are sooooo many cool areas in in the game.

I don´t even have a farm route, I just go wherever I feel like and start killing.

What fun.

Roguelike dungeons ftw

Gdstashing

What’s that?

Its a secret exclusive skill that implores the aid of an ancient black “mamba” snake god that tears the very fabrics of reality and gaining access to forbidden weapons of war with unimaginable power;)

New exclusive skill? In oathkeeper?

Yes, its a secret exclusive skill for Paladin class. Its unlocked after 6666 posts on forum.

Main campaign, specifically the (non-valbury) roguelikes.

I just get lost in Port Val :o

I finally went to Port Val the other day in a fit of completionist-rage, and I just have to ask, what is the point of this area? Why would anyone go here, ever, other than just to complete it? Are there special drops, exclusive to this area? Otherwise I can’t see its purpose…

Main game for the most part. I just wish there were an item to stop XP gain, so I could do proper farming, without using alts, so I don’t out level my friends.

The area has a nice atmosphere. But there are some MIs specific to the bosses.

Some interesting belts and in particular a Scepter coveted by some players. Although…it has <2% drop chance. Which means statistically you are looking at 50+ runs for that :stuck_out_tongue:

And that’s discounting the chance of lowrolls, which is really bad for that scepter.

More like 500 runs for a good rolled one. I still don’t understend WHY droprate for such items must be so retarded >_>

Mostly main game except for Port Lagbury  I enjoy the dungeon style farming more than running in circles in an arena. That said, I am down to multiplayer crucible at any time.
Really hyped for the shattered realm! I’m pretty sure it will become my favorite type of endgame farming.

And for testmaxing builds that need rediculous greens I also play the secret grimstash mode from time to time.
