I will first play solo than after a while, i will choose a 2nd mastery. Probably Warlord but not sure yet.
currently the most tempting for me are Templar and Shieldbreaker, but my first try willl probably be a Warlord because it looks more evident on paper (tank with shield and physical dmg ftw)
for the two others iāll probably wait for the GT update to see whatās possible to do

Thatās at the end. I mean those near the end. The ones that need max mastery are all good at some point. Devastation, then Blade Spirit is good with demonslayer, then Reap Spirit is good with Diviner. The ones before them, only Doom Bolt is good (that does damage)

Hopefully Turrionās Reprisal will get a bit of Oathkeeper support at least. Serenirās Commendation too, though that might end up being more of a Paladin item. Donāt think Iāve ever seen anybody even use the latter, come to think of it. :eek:
As soon as the Templar talks started it got one vote. If this continues my Oppressor will be overtaken. Templar looks like it has the least synergy of all OK classes, imo. Oathkeeper is a shield mastery and we expect it to be tanky so youāll be attracted less to Arcanist defensive skills. Also since OK=shield and Arcanist = offhand, thereās kind of a conflict of weapon choice. And Arcanist doesnāt have relevant RR. I guess it will turn out to be like Vanilla Battlemage unless Crate gives it a good set, then itāll turn out to be like AoM battlemage, which is a very shitty class unless you use Krieg or Spellscourge.
Obviously, first will be sentinel with retaliation damage (I want to saw by my own eye how retaliation damage becomes more powerful than now with this new āretalation-to-attackā mechanics)
Second - archon with cyclone
Hm, I have 40 lvl Occultist build without second mastery ā¦ Will try it with OA too. Next 2 builds probably will be with soldier or shaman and arcanist.
Oppressor, Archon, Shieldbreaker or Sentinel depending on synergies

All of them probably. But itās really hard to say without knowing how the full skill tree looks like. And looks like weāre not gonna know for a whileā¦?

Sentinel will probably be my first choice. There are a number of interesting possibilities presented, and the acid/poison plague knight theme appeals to me. I really hope that retaliation builds become fun now that some active skills can make use of retaliation damage. Aegis of Menhir, Blood of Dreeg, Fevered Rage and the Mythical Perdition Set sounds like a good time.
Itās not surprising to see Templar lagging behind, as there doesnāt appear to be much synergy there. That doesnāt bother me - I wouldnāt expect every mastery combination to be equally synergistic.
Itās going to be a long wait until Q1 2019!
