A set might support more than one class combo quite well, just saying:)…nothing specific
Paladin and Sentinel look very attractive but I don’t know…so many cool skills. I thought throwing shields would be a highlight of the mastery but I like every skill that was shown.
P.S. I would like to see a poll “Why el critico so obsessed with Paladins”
For me it’s the name of the class and the synergy with the whirlwind skill.

Templar will suffer from the same issues as Battlemage does imo. Shield/offhand conflict and less RR than other classes. Crate needs to buff OFF’s RR so that it applies even if enemies are not frozen.

And by now people are used to GD universe specific fantasy. Paladin is more fan service for general public too, as are Archon or Templar names. But no one lobbied so much for them or the rest and people care curious more than anything thus get votes:p

Cause of it’s spin2win theme and other (possible)synergies. Possible associating with FG screen or other warriors from other games. It’s cool, bottom line:)
He is right about reverse effect tho. I mean no offence but seeing word Paladin in every thread make me already kinda sick of it. Prolly never gonna roll one too.
Plus you can play as this type of char in many different games, but how many let you play as “bad guy”? Its like situation with Death Knight, people wanted to roll him just cause name sounded cool and lets be honest Artas looked badass.
How rude. Dervish is a nice, outlandish name, which fits well in the eastern warrior design of OK (srsly Virtue set is like straight out of chinese/korean mmo).
I play too many builds with fire effects. So I think sentinel with the poison transmutes.

i think Dervish popularity is tied to a certain skill reveled in a certain stream but i can be wrong ofc

I’m going to do a Warlord first, due to nostalgia from the old TQ S&B Conqueror.
I’ve never made a shield character, so I want to play with warlord first. Offensive retaliation build sounds awesome.
After that, dervish. Looks like so many thing can be experimented with its new auto-attack replacer. Also easy 100% WPS.
Oppressor doesn’t seem have much synergy, but I will still try to explore that because I love Necro.
