I am currently leveling a DW blademaster and I am not sure which relic I should use. I crafted Bladesworn Talisman as soon as I could (it was cheap and a prerequisite for a lot of others relics so it is never wasted), but now I am level 36 and I am not sure if it is still the best option. Which ones could be solid choices? Guile would be better DPS-wise? Simply upgrade to Bladedancer’s Talisman? Anything else?
For sure, Slaughter would be pretty obvious choice, but I CAN’T FIND THIS #$%&! BLUEPRINT!!! It’s driving me nuts. Any clues how to get it? Treasure trove doesn’t drop me blueprints so far. I have the blueprint for nemesis though and it might be my aim for later (at least if I don’t drop anything better - but I need slaughter anyway!)
I do have Juggernaut for the +1 to Soldier though. Not sure if it’s worth it.
Btw, here is the current setup.
Thanks for your help.
The most interesting low level relics for pierce blademaster are guile (as already mentioned) Mistborn (troll rage is actually better than cadence until cadence has some moderate investment - and it lets you conserve skillpoints while leveling) and you can’t go wrong with a +1 skills relic of course so juggernaught would be a good choice too.
Ok, good to know. I should have started with guile then. No problem, I can craft it right away. I don’t know which relic I will get at level 70, let’s see what goodies drop by then!
I know, that was my aim indeed :D. After Arkovian Undercity, I just rushed to Homestead. Then I can come back on my footsteps and farm Homestead rep in the process. As soon as I reached lvl 35, I farmed 2 slicers. Bad luck, the one which was Vampiric of Alacrity dropped at lvl 20 :o. Anyway, they are so easy to get!
Now I need to enter Steps of Torment to get one more Devotion point, so I can get third node of Blade of Nadaan, and be serious about piercing!
Btw, devotion-wise, I rushed Bull as early as possible because at this stage it gives consistent AoE (the low CD is a blessing. I am not sure if Dire Bear would be better considering the constant proc Bull offers). But I would like to switch to Assassin asap, because I guess it will deal more damage. Right? What would you do?
Cheers. Juggernaut would be good too, but it seems from you both that Guile would be very solid, and it is so much easier to craft (no manticore eyes involved). So I guess it is a better choice. About troll rage, I see your point and it is very valid. But IMO, deadly momentum is so powerful that Cadence is still the better option. But before that, it doesn’t matter so much I think. I went 1 point in cadence (to bind devotion) and between the flat damages of Dual Blades, the WPS and Bull, I had both single-target and AoE covered.
Well if you get your OA high enough to crit i’d get Asassin’s mark actually. With guile+Cadence+deadly momentum and WPS like Shiears and Whirling death you should breeze through content. Max DEadly momentum asap
Then get Harpy, (Hawk if you need OA), then Assassin( the proc is brutal early on) or first Nadaan.
You don’t need the RR so much in veteran but assassin’s mark is on it’s way to the relevant devotions. You are already lvl 30 something so you don’t have to chose between mark and harpy, you can have both:)
As for AoE yes, Shears and WD will destroy in veteran/elite. Just max DEadly momentum to feel the power
