Which weapon is better?

Hi all. I’m trying out this build: http://grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?p=376926#post376926

It’s a bleeding Conjurer build, and it uses Falcon Swoop and Rend. I’m trying to decide which of these two weapons is better. I think I need more damage for Falcon Swoop, but the +152% Bleeding on the other one is nice. But the currently equipped one, while having less +X% Bleed damage, increases Bleed duration by a third. (I also like the health conversion aspect.)

Thoughts? Thanks!

Liberator but there’s a better axe here http://www.grimtools.com/db/search?query=butcher&in_description=0&exact_match=0 farm master of the pit in four hills for this stronger than 2 hand when dual weilded. If you want pure damage from bleed this is the set for you Bloodrager’s set http://www.grimtools.com/db/search?query=bloodrager&in_description=0&exact_match=0 while still keeping you alive and If you want 2 hand weapon Empowered Boneshard Lacerator http://www.grimtools.com/db/search?query=Empowered%20Boneshard%20Lacerator&in_description=0&exact_match=0and as bleed build you want duration more not damage hit enemy then leave he will drain in health. But if you want really vitality bleed wildblood set will do too http://www.grimtools.com/db/search?query=Wildblood%20Vanguard&in_description=0&exact_match=0 , downside not much in survivability it’s literally for hit once then let enemy bleed out. you can’t tank with this set.

Thank you. Those armor sets look amazing! Too bad I never get any legendary drops!

But why is that axe better?

For one that extra damage to humans is OP and 2 has an OP skill to go with it also suggesting shield to go with axe this specific shield OP shield that has more damage to beasts and can keep you alive and has more bleeding damage than weapons you shown.

Is there a specific shield you have in mind?

The Liberator is better. Only thing that would make the other weapon better is the attack speed, but with a bleed build attack speed isn’t that important.

Rather go with an axe (like this one http://www.grimtools.com/db/items/1901) and a shield.

Hmm, according to the build guide I’m using, a higher damage 2H weapon is better because Falcon Swoop does %weapon damage. Is a 1H weapon still better?

Falcon swoop did get hit with the nerf-hammer because it was too strong for just about every 2H-build because of its high weapon damage. It’s still good, but for a bleed build its bleeding aspect might be more important which does not care about 1H or 2H.

Good point. I’ll keep an eye out for 1H weapons more often now.
