Seemingly (I didn’t check all resources) we can trade just about everything - just not wax, which results in wax hoarding that’s never really consumed enough to keep it balanced. Why can’t we trade wax?

Making candles doesn’t consume enough of the wax, especially when you have many apiaries to produce honey for selling, the amount of wax just keeps increasing.
