Why does the Soldier, Arcanist and Shaman get 10 attributes/mastery point, while the others get 11?

First off, I didn’t realize I had such an old account

SOLVED - Silly mistake on my behalf, I would of edited the title to stop people wasting a click, but I can’t seem to do this, so sorry for wasting your time.

Every class gets 500 attribute points for maxing a mastery

Back to the topic:

I’m wondering about the difference in attribute points gained for each point placed in the mastery of either the Soldier, Arcanist or Shaman vs the other classes (10 attribute points vs 11).

It does mean that by maxing out a mastery (50 points) in one of the topic classes, you do miss out in just over 6 levels of attribute points, which you would of recieved if you had chosen another class (since each point at level up gives you 8 points in that attribute, 50/8 = 6.25).

Soldier at least has an ability to lower physical requirements, but i’m not sure the reasoning for the other classes, it seems deliberate (seeing as each class gets exactly 38 points to distribute between health and energy), but I wonder if there is any official explanation for this.

Not sure how you cam to this conclusion, everyone gets the exact same number of stat points, just for different stats.

Thanks mamba,

You certainly made me check that I wasn’t missing anything, and I found where I made my mistake.

Attributes points aren’t rewarded the same for each point placed in the mastery, however the end result is that 500 attribute points are given (averaging 10/mastery point).

The mistake I made was assuming point distribution is always the same for each point, which isn’t true; For example while the Demolitionist gets 11 points at level 1, at level 2 they get 9 points.

Thanks for your help!
