Why is Korvaak a Super Boss?

Yes, that’s the question. Though the answer may be “because yes”, I still want to ask;
I found and fought every Super Boss in the game, though I only beaten half of them (it was all with the same character), and Korvaak seems pretty weak compared to other celestials, even Clone of John Bourbon is harder. Why is Korvaak a Super Boss if you can facetank and slaughter him fast with literally 0 problems? He isn’t strong enough for me to make him a Super Boss, especially because he is in main quest line, and other bosses aren’t. For me, a Super Boss should be an optional, pretty hard to get to and incredibly difficult opponent, while Korvaak, though having great effects and a really nice voice, isn’t difficult at all. So, why devs gave him the title? Because he is a god?

He’s a super boss in the sense of an End Boss ofc.
I would describe his power in the vicinity of any other End Boss (Theodin and Log that is).
Yep, he’s a celestial officially. But with the introduction of FG, that term got stretched a bit.
Those “hungers” you can spawn from totems are also “celestial”, yet easy ofc. You simply need to distinguish now between those and those ultra-boss-celestials, that’s it.
Who’s calling Korvaak a “Super Boss” anyway…?

Yeah, who? Not really considered a super boss by anyone far as I know. He’s just the end of act boss.

Well, Grim Tools is, for one.

Where? Don’t see anything in his description saying he’s a super boss.

Strange. Wouldn’t call him that at all. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to defeat him so easily with my characters. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Oh yes, GT was made by someone not from Crate Entertainment.

Facts. I don’t know who’s worse, him or Theodin. Of course mad Queen tops them all :sweat_smile:

nah, it’s actually fabius. Don’t believe me? Nobody fights him above shard 100 almost.

Fabius is actually a true Nemesis for some builds, same as Grava.

It is kinda funny that among the unspeakable monstrosities the player has to face – be it creatures crafted for war by beings of pure magical energy, demons of hell itself, sorcerers corrupted by the powers of a god, the very messengers of a deity – some of the most pants-shitting foes one can see on the screen in SR are a very, very stabby dude, a walking treestump and a bigass earwig. Don’t get me wrong, Korvaak is a terror and so is Theodin, but the fact a random Nightblade, a tree and a bug are similar in threat level to those guys is kinda hilarious. Hell hath no fury like a giant insect queen away from her brood, it seems.
