A MMO is Massive about its multiplayer, not the size of its maps.

I’m glad Grim Dawn is single player. Wouldn’t have been able to play it when I was staying at University and couldn’t connect to Steam.
It still has MO aspect presented. I am more of a singleplayer, so it doesn’t really sit well with me still.
Why not?
Because MMO games are discrace to humanity, taking away the real life of decent people. A game should stay… just a game… not an alternative way of life.

Better for YOU maybe, but NOT for the vast majority of gamers. There are games that are online only. Some can be soloed. Some can’t. There are SP games. Some can be played MP. Some can’t. The way it is. They way it should be. The way I always hope it is. There is something for everybody.
How would you feel if you woke up one morning, and your favorite MMO is now a SP game? Probably be pretty pissed right? Same way we would feel if our SP was suddenly MP only. Just let us have OUR games. We will let you have yours.

If PvP could reasonably be balanced in a game like this, I’d be all for it. Actually, if we just didn’t have variable movement speeds and we prevented gap closers from working on players… It’d be good as-is. That way you could dodge things manually and it’d still be a skill kind of thing, even if your gear was behind the other persons. Without that, though, you’d just have a Blademaster with a bunch of movement speed, Shadow Strike, Blitz, and Riftstone just spamming onto you, getting a few hits off, and eventually killing you with impunity, basically.
See how removing just three letters vastly changes this?
Know what other three letters make a vast improvement in a post like this?

You love multiplayer. I hate it. I’m glad you have games that you can play and enjoy in a style that suits you. Shouldn’t everyone be entitled to the same?
I don’t enjoy Multi either. As long as Multi isn’t enforced, and there are no advantages for Multi… I see no issue with it, however, I simply won’t use it. It’s when, like in D3, Multi is so vastly better than Single, that I have an issue with it.

the souls games arent really multiplayer in the normal sense, usually there is a sign that you can use to summon other players or get summoned, except for invaders, it is multiplayer only in the sense there are shared messages on walls/ground – this is far from the mmorpg or even an online-only game that is being suggested here.

Better MP would be welcomed. ARPG is more fun playing with people. But game must support it.
PoE is online only, but overwhelm people play solo, as game is not as well design for MP.
In Diablo 3, its easy. Pick the game mode, & the game will pair you with 3 other people. But it works as there are game modes, that can be done withn 10-20mins, with clear objective.
