So you feel nothing is casual in Grim Dawn, then why are you not satisfied with the difficulty. And where does your fact come from? Like you have all your calculations and graphs to prove the fact?
Or do you mean that anyone who plays the game is not allowed to take it casually? The developer must make the game in a way that only hardcore players will be able to complete the game.
There are players who try to get BiS for all slots but there are other casual players like me who just want to build characters that are strong enough. If the game difficulty is buffed up, then we are all forced to grind for BiS and play the most efficient builds to just even finish Ultimate. So no thanks.
Gd is challenging when there are two in a group, let alone 4. And killing everything without having to sweat right. I just finished from a server I created, 3 other people joined me. Not once did I have a hard time, gd is challenging right.
Are you telling me nothing in this game makes you break a sweat? Even if that were true, it’d place you in the 1% of topmost players and I don’t think it’s prudent to balance a game around the challenge tolerance/needs of 1% of players. I’m pretty sure everyone breaks a sweat when they get a particularly nasty nemesis combination wave in Cruc. If you need more challenge, play HC or play a weird build, something that isn’t “glad cruc ezpz” in the title or something. The rest of us would still like to be able to manage most of the content, thank you.
Let me see if I understand this. There’s no challenge in multiplayer, so you choose to play in multiplayer and complain about the lack of challenge.
Have you considered playing solo, as the game was designed to be played? Multiplayer, it seems to me, is not the focus of Grim Dawn or the playstyle around which it is balanced.
That’s because GD has no balance in multiplayer, mainly the mobs are not balanced to take on two or more players. Also because this is a single player focused game, with multiplayer just a side feature for the people who want to play co-op.
Try playing solo and then come back. Not saying it’s difficult, but i can say it’s much harder than multiplayer.
Ive been checking the rings and amulets augments… i still can’t think of anything there that can justify such limitation. Not even the new ones from AoM gives a bonus strong enough to be left out so randomly
What you people dont know is that in multiplayer enemies scale each time someone joins, That scaling needs to be buffed. Yes I play multiplayer in the hopes that someone that joins is not that good, and because the enemies scale when every time someone joins. It will give me a challenge, but no. And I am saying fact, saying fact and complaining are two different things. Now you know the difference.
I play solo 90% of the time, still no challenge. There is one nemesis that gives me somewhat of a challenge, thats just because it’s op.
Again for people like you that don’t know, enemies scale whenever someone joins your server. So yes Grim Dawn is balanced in multiplayer, but that scaling needs to be buffed.
