Why use blood Sygil medal as opposed to myth proclasms mark?

Apart from the chaos res, (As opposed to the ather Res) it looks like myth proclasm is better than non myth Sygil, yet I see allot of high level fire and purifier builds with the non myth blood sygil.

I get why non myth vs myth blood sygil as many want to avoid the damage conversion.

but why non myth sygil over myth proclasms?

Proc, flat OA, +2 to Brimstone and human damage. The latter is specially useful for humans with high resistance to fire.
