Cadence is Point-blank skill with near zero AoE. It MUST be stronger that firestrike/savagery. And Firestrike/Savagery must be stronger that CT/Forcewave/Thinderstrike.
Less AoE->More DMG. More AoE->less dmg. Easy and reasonable.
Nope. I’m mostly referring to melee/melee hybrids. I don’t care about the set atm. I don’t care if it’s DEE spam or CD DEE.
A big problem with Spam DEE is how low its base values are compared to Panetti for example. It got a slight buff but I don’t think it will do.
This is is probably the best buff but won’t do alone: “Groble Toxic Effigy: increased % Weapon damage modifier for Dreeg’s Evil Eye to 33%”

It is very rare that what anyone suggests, be it tester or not, will be done to the letter unless something is really badly wrong with the topic you are discussing and you happen to hit the nail on the head. This happened to me but I won’t say here which changes specifically and it wasn’t DEE at all. This can happen to anyone. I chose not to say which changes in this case cause people start phrasing stuff like you just did…you tester you!!
Otherwise, maybe, just maybe they will do 10% of what you suggested if it’s a good idea and let it there or do the rest of the 90% their own way (which is still a good thing. Personally I prefer to be surprised)

As somebody mentioned earlier from Ceno’s patch analysis stream when I briefly stopped by, Temper is losing its armor bonus in favor of % Physical Resist or Defensive Ability (we settled on Defensive Ability after careful analysis with a d20 dice roll).

On mobile so don’t want to search through the thread for the quote, but earlier someone mentioned the Demo having no avoidance, but it arguably has the most potent source of Fumble/Impaired Aim in the game with 100% uptime. I think that’s a fair trade.

I agree that Demo is not there yet, but somehow Crate brought back Sorcerers, not even sure if it was intended or it was a byproduct of balance shifts, which I am very happy about. My Sorceress has now the potential to make runs close to 7 minutes, something I stopped daring even to dream of after Ashes of Malmouth Crucible came out.

I like to think we do good work and frankly my feedback errs on the buff the worst performers in the game side of things. I don’t really care much about the middle or top. Mainly I look for stuff almost universally unused in the end game. Plus the play testers rarely see eye to eye on things. Except clearly weak stuff. XD

Hah. Indeed. If we want something changed/looked at we still have to convince 'em we have a case, the same as everyone else.
I would say that ‘maybe’ we might have an edge with a slightly more direct ‘line’ to them to air our views but this forum itself nullifies that premise considering they pay it more or less the same amount of attention. You even sometimes see Praetorians try to drum up support thru the main community for certain things by accessing and using this forum as a means to that end.
I have a much better solution that has numerous benefits.
1)It does not affect Commando.
2)It make some never-worth more that onepointer skills For Elementalis and Saboteur worth considering.
3)It will reduce the amount of Caster-armor wine on forum.
4)It will make Temper more effective.
5)It does not break the theme of skill.
6)It does not remove something that was on temper before.
7)It does nothing to Justicar, but help a lot Ulzuin.
And the answer is %armor absorbtion.
As for DA thing. I think Demo need it. And I know one skill that no one ever use as one pointer, when you can dump it - Ulzuin wrath.

-OA shred maybe? Slightly interesting concept. They hit you at full OA, then subsequent hits have less OA.
I like the idea of it just being good enough with its current stats tho, through numerical buffs. Maybe a tiny increase to targets affected scaling? Ever since AoM released you generally are dealing with a lot more than 6 targets in serious fights.
No, Demo need something that work before Blast Shield come intro play. You have DA shred on BWC. And you will use BWC on most classes anyway cause you need that %phyz dmg reduction.
I disagree, the flat armor bonus never did much even with high levels of armor%, so losing is not a big deal.
DA can also be seen as glancing blows, that could be caused by better quality armor so it does not break theme IMO
On the other hand
-% armor absorption is fairly easy to max or near max with the current components even with caster armor, so the benefit this gives are rather negligible.
-This skills seems only useful for relatation builds, that do not need the extra DA. Adding DA to such a skill does not seems like good idea to me as sorcerers(in case you do not go the CDR route), pyromancers, Elementalis and other classes do need the DA would get fairly little befit from the rest of the skill

Okay, so you never ever tried to stack flat armor from some unused skills in god-forgotten classes? And then add some bonuses, lets say 70% armor increased? =)

For gdstashers, perhaps. For ppl with real gear -not so much outside of Justicar set or Pyromancers. Most of my builds run around with a single 12% absorb component cause I can`t put more.

Yeah, like you want to place your precious skill points in skills that do dmg and don’t want to waste them on survivability skills. I understand such surge. Probably the reason why Seal has dmg and Censure turned to be the way it is now.

That skill is utterly useless for everyone. No one that care about build efficiency never ever put points intro Ulzuin Wrath. Even build that max Vindictive flame never put points intro ulzuin wrath.
But what if we put on something good? Something good and much needed? You see, now you have a dilemma. You want that DA. You want that absorb on temper. But you have no points to max everything.
That make it interesting. =) Its a buff, but not free buff. Its a buff that make you scratch your head about what to do and how to balance your build.
I don’t think it’s all too fair to accuse me of subjectivity in this particular setting. Not a single comment was ever made that praised Thermite Mines. Not in this thread and afaik not ever. Comments on the contrary, in turn, are overflowing. It has nothin to do with what “I want.” It’s more about what I see and hear from just about anyone in the community.
But it doesn’t matter. It is what it is. Nice job on Barrelsmiths. I tested two setups: Purifier and Elementalist. Both made me wonder how much easier it would be if it was a Vindicator (joke).
Just a humble suggestion: why not both? Even if all 3 were squeezed in and then doubled up, tacticians would still outperform commandos on most fronts.
BTW, If I recall correctly, DA was on Vindictive flame during early beta. And BWC DA shred was more effective? MB it was a mistake to remove them? MB just return things to how they were is the right answer?

Phyz resist make Commando stronger. Justicar in particulary. It does not affect Sorcerer or Defiler. It work better with Pyromancer, dw- saboteur and 2H elementalist.
And it make %phyz resist to be common in masteries. Nightblade got it, but I still don’t understand why it was put on Dual blade skill together with flat dmg.
I like phyz resist, but I prefer to look for it elsewhere. MB on Demo-focused shield? Siegebreacker level?
