It’s been always an issue that wild trees keep growing on the area where you plant fruit trees. Manually cut them is a pesky and time-consuming operation, and letting them grow will eventually lead to literally submerge your orchard under a forest, making difficult even to understand when and where you need to plant fruit trees back (not to mention difficulty to select them).
I think the game should treat the 2x2 cells square where you plant a fruit tree as “occupied”, so nothing can grow from the ground besides the fruit tree itself. Only once a fruit tree has been cut down/culled, the cells square should be treated as free again for wild trees to grow.
Same issue. Maybe the Arborists could have an “auto” cull ability for random trees and fruit trees that are too old. Culling is a micromanagement pain.
