Will my pc run grim?

Hello,

I just heard about this game and have been lurking checking post of gameplay and ran across several post that indicated that some video cards seem to have issues. Namely the nvidia 900 series. I have an older computer and this concerns me as I do not want to spend money on something that may not work. Here are my specs:

OS: Win 10 home 64-bit
Motherboard: Assus Z87 pro
CPU: Intel i7-4770 3.40GHz
Display Adapter: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 4GB DDR3
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB
Hard Drive: Samsung Evo 1 TB SATA III

I would appreciate any suggestions. I was also thinking i could upgrade my video card, but not sure if my Motherboard would be the bottleneck.

I’m running on a i5-3750K, 7950, 16GB, WIN7 without any issue. According to http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html, your video card is a tier above mine. You should be all set.

Half of me thinks you just want to show off pc specs. This is far more than enough for running 5 Grim Dawns.

lol. If mine can run it i think anyone here can. Those specs ar in the realm of SF for me.

I have nearly identical PC except I have GTX 660 as gfx card and I’m running the game all on high setting except AA is off, and the game runs just about perfectly. The framerate does drop if there is A LOT of stuff going on, but that seems to happen no matter how fast your PC is. And that GTX 770 is a good bit faster than my GTX 660, so you don’t have to worry about performance at all.

Upgrade only if you have performance problems on other games you play, GD will play just fine.

Wish it was the case to show off :D, but this pc was built over 2 years ago and i consider it to be obsolete when it hits 3 years.

I really appreciate the input. the game looks fun and I am really bored of playing D3 season which is coming to a end shortly.

If I may, one last question. How is the community in helping new people in-game? With D3, people usually are smart!@# that find it funny to poke fun rather than help. This is important to me to have a nice social aspect to the game.

I just came back to the game a month ago, having not played since before launch. I have found the communites (this site + steam) to be very helpful. They’ve gotten me off the ground and clarified things when I got stuck.
