The modifier? How is blightfiend without being a time bomb ?
I dont like skeletons because theyre not tanky and feel like temporary pets because they will die all the time. That being said I would really prefer if my decent tank pet wouldnt turn into a temporary bomb.
Oh! Almost forgot. I’m very picky as you already know. I dont like arcane bomb. What can we replace it with? One too many buttons for me plus i’ve never used it and heard you have to wait for it to detonate or something. Not really interested.
Hey Maya. This is really a fun build. Didn’t know reap spirit was that good.
Bit sad about the lack of pet in general and would be great if there was a fiend with it, but I guess the dmg boosts are not compatible between fiend and reap for end game.
Though I did find a build you made that has fewer pts in reap and maxed out fiend, but few points in bird and hound. In that one, devotions are slightly different also.
So I’m still wondering about the subtleties in choices
So despite you already stated that Blizzard works just as well, is there an advantage to Widow?
Why did you prefer that devotion to Bliz for this build? And why did the other build that focuses nearly on the same spells have a couple pts in stag and Menhir?
I’m probably trying to understand too much at once and I guess experience will grant me those answers naturally, but a good teacher is so much faster to grasp the concept correctly and apply to new builds
I have to point out that I have none of the end game stuff so I suppose the answer could be very simply that your equipment will allow you to respec devotions…
You can take it. However you will have to get the skill points from somewhere. That was my major issue here. Acid/poison & Physical gets converted to Elemental by the Trinkets set, so no need to worry about that.
Different build with a different set and doesn’t focus on Reap Spirit or Familiar.
Widow provides Resistance reduction for both Aether and Lightning, which is what Reap spirits and Familiars do. It in turn, allows for faster kills on superbosses which won’t be possible with Blizzard as its uses are rather diminished against single targets.
The other build is a different build
You can respec devotions from the same NPC that lets you respec your skills. Equipment is irrelevant to respec’ing. Unless you meant that the different devotion setup is due to having different equipment, in which case you’d be correct
I indeed meant the later. So yeah, lucky with drops means visit at the respec witch.
Big thanks, you answered all my questions and I now see the reason to choose one constellation over the other.
Basically, find what dmg your spells deal and focus on RR constellations for that dmg type.
I’ll keep using the budget build for now until I can respec based on the loot I drop.
Cheers!
Can anyone speak to the relative power level of the alternative versions?
I started with budget + random no set upgrades and now have pretty close to the no set version complete.
So i think the upgrades I have left to look forward to are getting/completing the two sets (diviner and trinkets), which I assume both sets together is the peak performance.
For upgrades I am doing normal 70/71 SRs in about 10 minutes. 75/76 wasn’t too bad, but my pets would die/i’d have to kite around a lot in the boss room on 76 vs 70/71 which was pretty much face roll.
First post here, want to say thanks for the work you’ve put in this guide.
I just reached lvl 94 and got revered with the relevant factions using Requinox Cabalist pet build(with a couple of tweaks). Although the build was great for leveling(only ever died, 3 times XD, to the boss in FG in ultimate), im planning to use this build moving forward.
Just a clarification, If I have some of the BiS armors but not the complete set, is it better to just use them right away or keep using the budget build until I complete the sets? I am pretty new to the game so please bear with me.
May I also ask if I should just start farming SR normal, or should i finish AoM in ultimate?(skipped it so I could get revered in FG factions).
I eventually plan to move on to a dual wielding pistol build(would love some recommendations on this too), and plan to use this build to farm up equips for alts I want to try since this build can do all endgame content.
If you have BiS armor pieces, by all means use them (unless for some reason your resistances or DA suffers too much due to it). Even if you do not have the full sets, they tend to be quite powerful in their own right.
As for farming SR, if your char has reached level 94 (requirement to wear the endgame items and sets), head towards SR. You can finish the rest of the Campaign later. Exception is if you need to farm faction reputation to get access to faction items and augments.
As for DW Pistol build, I am primarily a Pet player/builder. So I do not really keep myself updated on what the best non pet builds are in the current patch. So I fear I won’t be much help there.
You can however, start a new thread and ask for suggestions and someone should be able to help. Alternatively take a look in here and see if anything strikes your fancy: ⚔ Nery's beginner build collection
Hi Maya, im new in the game and in the forum, also im not an english native so please be kind with my horrible english.
Can you please put the order of the skill to lvl up and devotion? I dont know which skill I must lvl first and which path I have to make in devotion area.
Thx for this build! I miss so much necro from D2 and your build looks awesome.

That should work. Don’t pay much attention to the items in those links since they were simply what I had while leveling up.
Try to get an Early Scorpius Pummeler if you can. It is a 1-handed scepter that drops from the Scorpion like monsters in the Forgotten Gods Expansion.
Once you get to level 94-100 change the skills and devotions to this: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/M2g7rbv2
The items are faction items and farmable monster drops. So it should be easy to get. You can see where to get what by looking it up in Grimtools item database: https://www.grimtools.com/db/
After that, farm Shattered Realms in Normal (my recommendation is to do shards 60-61, get your rewards and repeat), until you get the necessary items to make the Will O Wisp.
