Was excited to find it until my fiends went AWOL. Old one fine, mythical is defunct:
didn’t several mythicals lose their granted skill?
on purpose i heard?
(Reaver’s Claw) :´(
It’s a feature - not a bug
I can understand for procs, but why also remove granted actives? Specially unique and cool ones like Invocation to Chaos?
Yes.
Maybe it’s part of balancing system.
Two crows and a “-” to recharge time of conjure primal spirit make the mythical Bismiel’s will much more interesting than its non-mythical counterpart, albeit with a loss of active ability.
It’s a balance.
Moved thread out of the bug section.
Bummer.
I know I’m being bias here but an amulet is arguably the most important gear slot in the game… without invocation to chaos this is definitely not a “mythical” version of the same amulet at all… When empowered came out Zantai sold it as ‘bringing back your favorites, just more powerful’. In effect this is a new item all together.
An item that gave a flock of familiars would be pretty cool but just one extra, at the cost of 3 pets… Plus, to make the familiar hold a candle you would have to dump a ton of skill points into that line which for a pet build would be better spent on the hound, bonds, other pet masteries (necro, shaman), etc.
It would have been cool if instead of granting the 3 fiends, it finally granted a single permanent one that was more powerful at least as an alternative to the yeti amulet. That said the extra raven is very nice too as long as you are specced for it.
i kinda get it though, mythicals are just a variation and there are trade offs compared to the original
I suppose the silver lining is that the stats on the item aren’t massively different to what they were on the non-Mythical version, so it’s not too much of a sacrifice to just use that one instead if you really want the summons. If the stats on the new one were so amazing as to make the non-Mythical version seem horribly unappealing in comparison, then yeah, I would have been a bit annoyed at the loss of what is a pretty cool and unique skill.
That would be cool. On my other pet build definitely went with the yeti for that reason, but with a necromancer… a yeti just didn’t fit the motif, fiends that are summoned from the void fighting along side my army of raised skeletons seemed more appropriate! Unfortunately none of those new modifiers or +skills apply to necromancer
