I started leveling a druid and found that wind devil stop doing damage after some time (10-15 seconds). Is this normal?
do you have dmg numbers toggled on? 
my devils deal dmg for their entire 18sec lifespan atleast
*keep in mind devil aura dmg doesn’t stack, so having 3 devils out wont increase your dmg as long as you only have points in main and 2nd node - as such could possibly appear to deal very low dmg but still deal dmg
you need to invest in Maelstrom if you want to take advantage of multiple devils stacking dmg
I forgot to add that new wind devils also don’t deal damage after summoning. But if you move away and get closer to the target, the damage is dealt again
I can confirm this. I once noticed wind devil not doing any damage to Balros/Hagra in Moldering fields. Wind devil was right on top of the enemy without doing any damage. When I moved to force enemy to reposition, wind devil would start doing damage again.
i think i figured out the issue/have an idea what it is
and i think it might be related to this
i’m guessing wind devils does the same as the non-prespawned healers, they “forget” to cast their aura and just start “attacking” right away - and since their dmg is an aura it means no dmg is dealt
possibly something todo with the new controller/ai that was done after bird heal got a look at?
it becomes super noticeable in combat with perma devils or low CD spam devils,
the newly summoned devils doesn’t deal dmg right from recast moment,
but perma devils you initiated combat with have 0 issue keep dealing dmg
ordering the newly summoned to move a decent enough distance away then seem to give them enough time downtime before reengaging to turn their dmg aura on this time
Looks like thermite mines bug out too btw
seems like gets around 6ticks after recast in combat, then it stops dealing dmg
setup used in teh vid Commando, Level 61 (GD 1.2.0.3) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator, can’t really figure out why it gets 6seconds worth of tick since only has 30% burn duration increase, so seems like it’s not ceasing dmg instantly after recast perhaps
