Windowed and full screen resizing problem

I have a small monitor and a large monitor, both linked so that I can shift windowed applications from one to the other using Windows key + shift + right/left arrow. The small monitor is my default and is where the Farthest Frontier game opens. I then shift it to the large monitor but it doesn’t go full screen. The maximise button at top right of window is inactive, and I can’t grip the sides of the game window to resize it. So I give up and shift the game window back to the small monitor but, in doing so, the game window shrinks so much that I can’t read any of the button texts in the game window. Now I have to open Windows Magnifier just to read the buttons so that I can reset the game window to go full screen on the small monitor. Also, when I select the windowed option, the task bar at bottom of my screen is hidden by the game window even though taskbar is set to always be on top. I’m using a desktop PC with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, version 21H2, Intel(R) Core™ i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz, NVidia GeForce RTX 2060 driver version 516.94
