i want to start playing as a dualwielding witch hunter, who is mainly doing chaos and vitality damage.
looking through the build compendium i only found old builds to follow, are they still viable? or maybe you can give me some ideas or builds i can follow. i started a bit to theorycraft with the grimtools site, but failed hard to make a good build.:undecided:
in some older videos, i often see chaos witch hunter, who are using shadow strike. i dont really understand why.
isnt the chaos strike from riftstone component better for such a build? or do i misunderstand something?
sry for my english isnt very good hope you can understand.
I think the reason you can’t find a chaos / vitality WH is because it’s probably not optimal, and a lot of builds are designed for Crucible.
Chaos / Vitality is usually more associated with Witchblades, Conjurers and perhaps Ritualist / Cabalist builds. In fact, there’s a really good d/w Chaos / Vitality ritualist in the ‘Reasonably Powerful Builds’ thread (you can use two weapons with the right kit).
Most witch-hunters I’ve seen invariably go down the poison / acid route, with chaos and / or vitality as additional as opposed to primary damager sources.
Hmmmm ok, crucible viable would be nice.
To have another option of getting good items.
I tried a witchblade but i found the soldier class with cadence so slow and boring. But i didnt play it very long. Maybe thats the reason it felt so slow to me.

Not crucible viable at all but it can breeze through all campaign content. If you’re looking for crucible builds you probably shouldn’t be looking for a dual wield witch hunter.
