Is there any reason to play witch hunter over witchblade (both poison) if my goal is to farm crucible with self found gear? I have a lvl 85 witch hunter but I’m not liking how squishy it is. I’ve already tried speccing skills and gear to be tankier, still not feeling comfortable in challenger. I know there’s that DEE witchblade guide, might just copy that unless there’s a comparable witch hunter build. I’d honestly rather not lvl another fresh character though. Don’t really have a lot of time to play and 85 is a btch to reach.
Keep in mind most of my gear is blues and greens. Haven’t found many useful purples for poison/DEE.
WHs in general need to be decked out to the max to beat Gladiator. Challenger I always found pretty easy and enjoyable as a Chaos WH. Never played a DEE WH though.
WH has much higher DPS due to double resistance reduction (CoF, Night’s Chill) and extra damage bonuses from Nightblade, but to benefit from it well, he should go melee (to make use of Night Chill).
WB is much tankier, but less damaging.
WH is too fragile for Gladiator, but with proper gear, he can farm Challenger, i think, and do it FAST.
