Working on a spellbreaker, some questions

After taking a 3 months break from playing GD, game is still rocking!
Looking forward to the expansion!

I am working on a 2h ranged ABB spellbreaker. I plan to have this build http://grimcalc.com/build/ZLFvhye

Some questions:
Can a build like this defeat mad queen and tougher bosses easily?
Is it still necessary to invest a lot of devotion points into defensive bonus?
Whirlpool - Is it worth to use now?
Blizzard/Elemental storm - which one is better for this build?

I’ll leave the rest to others…

…as for this the latest Misadventure should tip you off on the future of defensive options (while simultaneously clueing you in on the current state by proxy).

Why do you have points in PB and Trozan’s? That being side, even after all the buffs ABB is still weak compared to other skills that a Spellbreaker has access to.

You should try a PB spellbreaker with Warpfire. It’s really strong.

1 point in PB line is good to trigger Tsunami.
Maybe I should remove points in Trozan.

Any more info on the PB spellbreaker with Warpfire build?

You can visit this link for more info, his build is pretty detailed. http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42210
