They seem really nice and I was a bit tempted to slap a Unholy Inscription on it and use it. BUT I would loose quit a bit of Aether resistance … it would drop to 46%, and that is with an Aether ward active? Now if the Duration was longer or the recharge was shorter who knows … but now I am not so sure.
Now this one I tried out for a bit and it looks in principle like a good item. I would loose a bit of chaos resistance … it would drop from 61% to 53%, and that may or may not be enough for the last part of act 4. the +3 to scars of battle is really nice. ( And I plan to take that one once I can. )
But for some reason I can not really explain myself I feel as if my character got a bit more vulnerable. Or am I kidding myself some how? Would any one use the found items over the currently equipped items?
In case my character is needed, this is how he is at level 54 normal difficulty.
I want to like Runic Bracers for the proc but the cooldown on it is excessive for what it does. That said, your current gloves seem nice and you will probably want as much Aether resist as you can get going into AoM content (which you’re about to do if I’m not mistaken).
Yeah the proc on those bracers are nice indeed, but I was thinking the same about the cooldown. As for AoM well I still have a few things to do but yeah it should not take a whole lot of time before I start AoM.
Guess I will stash the Runic Bracers … maybe a future character can make use of it, I will have to wait and see.
