Would it be possible to make an Archipelago implementation?

Archipelago (AP for short) is a randomizer that connects different games. There are a select few available in their platform, and I’d love to make GD the first of its kind there. The way AP works is through something called “checks”. Checks are basically unlockables for each of the connected games in a lobby. So a Hollow Knight player’s double jump and a Final Fantasy 1 player’s rat tail are checks, and they could be located in the other player’s gameworld. There would need to be two parts that have to be developed. The randomizer itself, and the networking to connect to the AP platform and actually connect the games. Think something like that would be possible to achieve? Thanks for any and all info!

I don’t really know the specifics of what you’re talking about, but I don’t think it’s possible.

What makes you think so? Especially if you don’t know the specifics (and really neither do I…), what makes you say that it downright wouldn’t be possible?
