Wtf is the last boss for melee characters?? Not fun at all

I already did that m8. Took Lifegiver ring though another ring would give more damage, shoulders, belt, medal. Are you saying that my poison/acid build does not need boots and gloves that I got just a few days ago and was happy that they fit my build perfectly? Again why make such items then if you can’t wear them for the builds they were designed for?? Then pls give some DA to those items, Crate…

Actually not many m8. Because I compensate that with 850 HP /per second, and 27%/25% dodge for melee ranged. ANd as I already told - I didn’t die even once in Act VI - even in 3 hereos at once on me fights.
If you say that ultos set is not that glassy because it has better defensive stats on it . And these poison/acid items I wear even mythical ones are made super glassy. Not by me but by game designers.

I think, as the guys mentioned, his attacks are well seen. They do hell lot of dmg, for sure, but are easy to avoid. Would be nice to see a vid of you approaching him.

Everyone’s saying you’re not tanky enough and yeah that’s true. After dying a lot against him you should have already known what his attacks are and be able to dodge those. As few people here said, Theodin’s attacks are very easy to avoid.

There’s one bigger problem I can see with your build, though. It’s fine not to be tanky, as long as you compensate with DPS. The way your char looks like right now, it seems to deal way too low damage considering you already sacrificed so much of your defense. Your OA is good, but 124% attack speed on a character that only seems to have auto-attacks to deal damage is very, very low. You should have at least 170. Your weapon sucks, I know it’s very rare but there’s a lot of better weapons out there that are easier to find. Venomlash, Basilik’s claw, even a decent green dagger might be better than that. Also, you have too many points in your WPS while forgetting the strongest WPS in the game, Execution. Whirling death is also very weak to be maxed. I could go on but there seems to be a lot of work that’s needed to be done for your build.

All of the above things I said about your build can be just ignored, though if you can dodge his big attacks.

he hits hard, but he should not be able to one shot the vast majority of chars.

to win you either are:

  • squishy, but deal high dmg with good life deal. meaning he’ll hit you once dropping you to 30-50% in one hit, then you life leech it/heal it all back before his next hit.

or you are tanky and can shrug his attacks.

if you can’t do either, maybe kite him when ur cds (such as blastshield, mirror) are down and re-engage when they are up.

I facetank him on my 10k hp melee mage hunter with subpar gear ( she still has her old level 75 armor set equipped ) so it’s definitely doable. I did die a couple times during my first tries though, but that was until I figured his pattern out.

The first thing to know is not to charge him right away because he always starts the fight by casting a shotgun ability that will oneshot you if you’re at point blank range. Just wait for the boss to cast it then go all in.

The 2nd thing that gave me some trouble is the ‘bullet hell’ phase. There are some safe zones in the bottom corners of the arena though, so I usually pull the boss there during his 2nd and 3rd phases.

You also need very good stun resist ( 70+% ) so you can quickly heal after his dive.
