Ok this isnt the first time i noticed it, been seeing issues with this years back, sometimes items just look wrong when transmoged or even dont register, like this shield
have you tried verifying game files, or if using grimtex etc to disable it?
or maybe it’s a combination of specific options settings and or underlayer item?
*that particular illusion looks fine on my end, but i might also not be using the same shield or graphic settings as you
I did verify, what do you mean it looks fine to you? did you look at both pictures? that lion transmog looks like the first picture
Gnuffi means that on his install, he is not experiencing the problem shown in your photos - and neither am I.
well yeah, i guess i should have mentioned, it doesnt always happen, something is triggering it, i did the forgoten gods trial quest i think when it happened
it’s why i mentioned the game settings and or underlayed item,
while i’ve no clue if such could play in, perhaps if you posted your specific grim dawn settings (and build items the illusions are applied on) it could add a potential replication factor, (also even if it might not ofc)
idea being perhaps this happens with certain texture or shader settings, in combination with XY etc, since atleast it doesn’t seem to be default shared (unlike ex the recent Xbox texture glitch that was universal)
I believe there is/was some bug with illusions when mesh stays, but texture resets to that of previous illusion (or lack thereof) in that slot. From what I’ve noticed, it happens when you get frozen, re-equipping glitched item fixes it, but only until you get frozen again.
The only solution I found is to restart session after applying/changing/removing illusions, as this bug seems to happen only if you get frozen in the same session after doing that.
That said, I think I haven’t seen it in a while, so I thought it’s fixed nowadays. Or maybe I’m just not paying attention anymore…
re equip doesnt work, exiting i actualy didnt try, just changing the illusion back and forth
