Xbox Brightness Reset

I just logged in to all of my settings reset, so I went through the calibration again. However, the game is SIGNIFICANTLY darker with the gamma now only affecting the menus.

If I go back to the main menu and change the gamma to the absolute highest setting, it will still be extremely dark in game. This didn’t happen just recently and weeks ago, etc. This only started after the settings data reset automatically.

this sounds similar to what happens (gamma wise not settings wipe wise) on PC when the game gets its proper fullscreen application disrupted or ignored.
Wonder if that’s at all related tho when xbox
