Yo

Hello,

I realised I never did an introduction thread, so figured I might as well write something out.

Name is Josh, as you might have been able to guess. Some of my mates call me Josho, seems to be the Australian thing to do. Oh yes, I come from Australia, Queenslander in fact, and downright proud of it.

When I heard Grim Dawn was being made, I actually saw it, then forgot about it. It was only a few months later was I reminded of it being in development and thought “yeah, I should give these guys some money after the joy I got from Titan Quest.” And I did, became a so-called Legendary fan because that was the highest amount of money I could give in the simplest way possible. Can not say I feel terribly Legendary though…

Oh, and in Crate I trust.

Not really sure if there is anything else I should add. Any general questions about me that don’t result in consequences like me waking up with a kidney missing, my bank accounts empty and my name posted on Interpol’s most wanted list I’ll be glad to answer.

Otherwise, welcome, hello and hi.

Hi Josho,

I sort of like your avatar - what made you choose a garden gnome? Are they as notorious in Down Under as here?

Garden gnome
Currently, there are an estimated 25 million garden gnomes in Germany.

Edit: for garden gnome haters

It is a garden gnome giving the one fingered salute, a small detail which I hope is safe for minors. I have no idea why I chose that avatar. It was just a random image that flashed in my mind when I thought “what would I use as an avatar?”

I don’t think they are too prevalent in Australia, you can probably rely on the neighbours stealing them. Or skippy taking one and popping it in his pouch. Or at least, that happened to the garden gnome in my parent’s garden one day. He just disappeared. Maybe he walked off perhaps? I don’t know.

Oh, and many people think I’m a bit of a cheeky fellow. On the internet I tend to behave. I guess the gnome somewhat resembles that.
