Beat me to it. Yes, the most moe of moeshit animes. (Really, though, K-On is fun)
I think as an exception summoners should be allowed to join Barrowholm without being a douchebag. Their items are good for us and all summoners should join them. You also don’t know the truth about them until already joining them. Just my thoughts.
i love the idea of this achievement because even if some of it can be debated on whether or not they’re inherently douchebag-like behavior if you somehow manage to get that many (probably) innocent people killed by accident (lookin’ at you kallista) or extort every shopkeep in trouble that you set your eyes on then you’re still a pretty terrible “hero” of the people.
Mogdrogen forgave us anyway cuz we kicked ravager’s butt
Yikes, I played the game many, many times but I don’t think I ever killed Helen and Julius. Harvey did attack me once, crazy as he is, and I once tried out another thing to say to Skinner and he burned his family, oops! I did kill Isaiah on my very first playthrough in alpha - I assumed a dying person would not be lying about his partner killing him for money - and not sure if this is still so, but his daughter awaited me before Homestead to attack me.
How can you get the New Harbor people killed? By killing the thug?
And well, I have so far allied with Barrowholm all the time. They are depraved cannibal lunatics, yes, but they have SO COOL faction items and augments! I frankly like that unlike Walking Dead where such alliances would not come up, here you CAN argue that even religious fanatic witch-hunters worshipping a false god, sorcerers raising the dead for shits and giggles, and depraved cannibals are BETTER than the things you fight against.
And yes, I include Death’s Vigil 'cause… talk to a few of those people in Sorrow’s Bastion. One of them enthusiastically explains how he killed a Kymon’s Chosen and turned him into an undead minion, something he takes great joy in… And if you talk to the Chosen, one of those very same guys tells you how they were just minding their own business and trying to avoid the Necromancer 'cause they knew he was dangerous… Plus, as it is evident when you talk to Maldakkar, he is there because he made a pact to allow himself to be resurrected to serve, but all those other spirits and skeletons? They are slaves forced to keep fighting and dying against their will. And we know thanks to talking to some of the Arkovian ghosts that yeah, these undead have their mental faculties intact. So it is basically undead-slavery.
Btw, is there any difference in the loot based on whether you steal from Ivonda or help her? I think her cellar has more chests?
And yeah, this should be an achievement, like the bad karma perk in Fallout 1-2
I still wonder what the difference is between the cannibals in Barrowholm and the cannibals in, well, everywhere else in the Ugdenbog and Gloomwald. I mean, aren’t all of them followers of Ravager in a way? Scorv just plays pretend for a while.

Sooo glad the devs added (I dunno when, just noticed) what is basically a “back away slowly from the frothing lunatic” button. Yes, now there is a “I have no ****ing time for this” option instead of the “I insist you and those children come with me to the nearest flesh harvesting station, I am totally not an Aetherial” choices. Before that, if you talked to him, there was no way out other than to kill him or save him, whatever the RNG decided would happen in that playthrough.
I still wish we had an option after opening up Steelcap District to go back with Captain Wilford, maybe he would believe his own boss…
would love for someone to give insight on this for FG
Necroing this thread because I think it’s funny and there is actually an update with FG. The OP lists this as an evil action:
In FG, if you rescue Nimia the Bloodsworn, you will discover something nasty in the Temple of Ateph. Our familiar friends have summoned a chaos god in hopes of suffocating the eldritch sun.
No good deed goes unpunished. I always kill “sorry” characters. Except Hagarond, because if the aetherials lock you up, you just can’t be a bad guy.
Nonono. Joining kymon is okay. Douchebag is doing it single-class and then picking necromancer as your second class.
