I had mined stone in my village before, but at some point all my workers were unable to harvest stone. Their status was either waiting or idle - unable to work. Manually clicked on harvesting the stone, and also used the drag tool. Selected and unselected stone for harvest. Had tools, had places to put the stone. I reloaded the game and all stone was missing from the map.

I had the same problem, could not mine stone. Tried unselecting… reharvesting, etc… - v0.7.5
Tested a couple ways. If you make an Idyllic Valley map and save, after you load the save all the stone will still look like its’ there but technically not exist.
Loading it a second time all the stone on the map will be gone.

I can corroborate these findings.
Created a new 0.7.5 map in the Idyllic Valley. Upon initial load, everything worked as expected (I was able to select rocks directly and with the harvesting tool). I saved the map and quit to the main menu. Upon second load, the rocks remained and could not be selected by the harvest tool in any way, but they could be clicked on manually (this did not make them harvestable however). I then saved again and quit to the main menu. Upon the third load, all of the rocks had disappeared from the map.
Edit: Upon fourth load, rocks remain removed.
I had a series of ‘failed to save’ bugs but they still made a save, I loaded one of them and all the stone was gone.
EDIT: Started a new game, saved right away and loaded, stone remained. Started playing for a bit and did a save and load, lost all the stone. No save error notifications this time though.

I too can confirm with version 0.7.5. All my workers would chop trees but not acquire stone. When selecting resources, stone was not highlighted; however, if individually selected you could set to harvest and prioritize but no one would actually harvest. I deselected everything on the map and only selected a single stone but again, no worker harvested. I was able to buy and transfer stone from a trader. As with others, after I saved and returned to the map all stones were gone. Not a single stone.

Same issue here, stone can’t be harvested.
I’ve had an issue on two maps now where I get a save error. It saves under a name like FrontierSaveFailed and when I reload it all of the stone on the map has despawned. On at least one of the two maps I had the gargantuan stone near my starting area.
I’m in year 16 or 17. Logged off. Came back, loaded game, all stone – on the map and in my storage – completely gone. This is version number 0.7.5.
Same issue here. Updated to the latest version v0.7.5 and could not harvest stone. Upon saving/restarting the game all the stone had disappeared.
We have a fix in the works which we will roll out ASAP.
