[1.0.0.4] Cadence Witchblade - 100% unkillable, 100% faceroll build

I keep getting some random Bonescythe of Alacrity, or even a Tyrants item with a random suffix…but not together -_-

Also, I wish there was an easier way to refresh vendors that exiting to main menu and starting a new game.

I got the double axe, and really considering farming the shop.
I think the extra speed would be nice.

Thanks for the great guide and to everyone for their contributions. Currently cruising through Act IV Ultimate HC for the first time!

One other thing: I just spent ages trying to buy a Tyrant’s Bonescythe at the shop, wound up picking up this guy instead:

How does it compare to a Tyrant’s weapon? DPS currently feels on the low side. If I were to keep it, would Oleron’s blood or haunted steel be better? It already has reduced enemy damage and ADCTH.

So, anyone here brave enough to use Fevered Rage?

Arguments for:

  1. Criiiits.
  2. More Spinny Hammer procs
  3. Style and manliness points.
  4. You are immune to trash damage anyway, and this makes them herd around you way faster.

Arguments against:

  1. Ouch.
  2. Fleshwarped nerd went from 85% chance to hit me to 25% chance to crit me.
  3. Ouch.

There are brave enough people here who have tried it yes. The trick is to know when to use it. Don’t cast it all the time. You can cast it at key moments to deliver deadly blows quickly, dispatching your enemy before the get a change to get you.

Just make sure you are well geared and careful! Watch out for mutators. I have had Cruel Brutal and Marked Mutators in wave 140-150 and it’s not a fun combination when against Fabius or Iron maiden.

Alright, as far as I can tell, the only thing that threatens my Witchblade in the Crucible is Anasteria the resist shredder. I think I simultaneously tanked Fabiuis/Maiden/Valoran and didn’t even notice Fabius until he was at 5% HP.

What’s the TLDR on her? Kite around and snipe the enemies around her until she can be safely killed? I think I can tank her damage, just not everyone else’s damage while she debuffs. Hell, if it was just her damage, I would just put the anti-atherial components into my amulet/medal, I can’t really think of anything else to put there other than Dread Skulls for the movement speed.

Which of her attacks actually shreds? The lobbing projectiles? The spinny whirls? The meteors? Is her shred avoidable?

Noob question. Why doesn’t this build run markovian’s advantage? One point will set it at 5. It will be 20% chance, 100% weapon dmg, reduce defense, add 747 physical damage, AND +%all damage.

What I do against her and probably others here. I’ll give the Anasteria/amaglamation spawn at wave 104 as an example because it’s easier than the later one but both funtion the same.

So Anasteria and Amaglamation spawn, let them both come near you ( near your banner if you use one). The purpose of this is to life steal from Amaglamation. You can’t life steal Anasteria that’s the big problem not just the debuff. So having Amaglamation near you will give you more time to dish out as much damage as possible from the first moment you make contact with her. The trick is to not let her build up momentum. With lifesteal, overguard on some lucky crits you should be able to either kill her before you need to retreat or at least leafe her at one 3rd of her hp pool then retreat, get your bearings, overguard, hp etc. and charge her gain.

It takes some practice. i was annoyed with her in the beginning too but now I find her easy. Her spawn with Thalonis (i think that’s his name) is a bit trickier because Thalonis is a smaller target so harder to lifesteal from him at the same time and also he does not engage in melee really so it’s more difficult to clump them together. He also spawns Harbingers who debuff you even further.

The ideea is the same here. Rush her on your terf as hard as you can and pull out when you feel you are likely to die : no menhir will because it’s on CD and so is health potion or blood of dreeg etc. You’ll get the feel for when it’s time to back off and rush her again. Her meteors can burst you hard in a moment of too much confidence.

If you can’t get Thalonis and Anasteria Together properly for life steal don’t spen too much time trying because they will both gain momentum making your life harder. If it fails just rush her near your banner, if you use one, and do your best from there.

1 point can set it at 9 even, I think.

to my knowledge it’s not used for two reasons:

  1. The animation is slow and so it slows down your dps. Damage is not great in return because ther is no %weapon damage increase.

  2. The DA debuff we already get from Blindside to some extent and the two don’t stack.

You can put a point in it if you want. I played with it. It won’t kill your build but it won’t make it stronger either really.

Been farming crucible on challenger difficulty but tried gladiator once and died on 147 couple weeks ago. Decided to try again last night and cleared 150 1st try. Really liking build so far and just need to get Markovian shoulders, boneshatter treads and a badge of mastery to try out.

Ahh ok thanks for explaining that!

please help me guys, i’m new to the game, and i don’t know if this build still viable, or need an update.

Page 36-present. Posts by MortalKombat are law of the land.

Very viable, probably the top build right now.
In fact I can’t seem to find any other builds, I want to play…
If it can’t tank and do crucible, what’s the point.
Any opinions?
The one I’ve been considering is…

http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46950

I just don’t like CT. Sitting there just having a seizure while stuff around me dies. The animation is lackluster to me. At least my PRM Sorc has stuff fly out of his hands!

I just don’t get a lot of time.
So levelling something to 85 to find out he can’t do shit just sounds disappointing.
Any other opinions on a good tanky class?

Honestly, this is one of the best since you can do it with any gear just about.

The PRM “Panetti’s Sorcerer” is surprisingly tanky as well. Those are my 2 go-to classes. Leveling the “Deathbringer” Harbinger guy right now with someone, not sure how he stacks up solo.

You mean this build?

It was another I was looking at a while back.

Would this build be good for someone with very little gear? And is it up to date to 1.0.0.6?
