[1.0.0.4] Cadence Witchblade - 100% unkillable, 100% faceroll build

I almost levelled my warborn guy and was wondering why noone suggest this gloves https://gracefuldusk.appspot.com/items/7921-Voidsteel-Gauntlets for this build. +2 cadence +3 solael witchfire, chaos resist , Oa and atk speed.

I’m not say they are nr.1 pick but i’ve seen just handguards of justice or Grasp of unchained might on builds suggestions. Voidsteel gauntlets looks like a solid option to me.

Leveling guide is good. Stack +bleeding damage/duration and everything will literally melt around you until act 3 Ultimate.

Gear dependency isn’t very high for the main campaign but much higher for farming the Crucible reliably.

Broken game mechanics.
Sad.

Because Grasp has %Phys damage which we use, and Voidsteel has %chaos, which we do not.

i’m not sure +40%ish phys dmg beats +2 cadence +3 solael wf

I actually use voidsteel gauntlets and lets nog forget it also gives some resists. I have not tried the Graps of unchained might. Still need to experiment with it.

Recently done the crucible and now in gladiator, but it seems i really need to take aspect of the guardian to cap my resists. I just hate to invest 29 skill points just for that. :frowning:

yeah actually what you lose using voidsteel gauntlet is some +% phys dmg, what you gain is your main skill buffed (let’s not forget % dmg raises with skill) and another very useful skill (solael is for atk speed) buffed, plus 1 resist (chaos) , atk speed and offensive ability.

You definitely don’t gain more OA on average by switching to Voidsteel because Unchained Might proc is +125 OA (and +10% attack speed).

yeah it’s a nice proc but it happens 33% on crit , lasts 5 sec and has a 12 sec cd. I would call it situational.

I don’t like that the Unchained Might proc decreases DA. -30 might not seem like much, but i don’t really like it. Plus it’s 33% Chance to proc on crit with 5 secs duration and 12 secs of cooldown.

I use Handguards of Justice on all my melee characters. Flat ~500 health, flat ~50 OA, around 16% Attack and Cast Speed and around 30% Pierce Resist (even though Markovian builds don’t really need it).

I honestly say it’s between Handguards of Justice and Voidsteel Gauntlets.

I switched to Justice as well myself. It just seems a better piece, we aren’t hurting for damage.

Just finished the new warborn set, what do you guys think of it compared to markovians ? It doesn’t seem as good to me so far…

don’t know what to say i had the last pieces of both sets (1 drop and 1 trade) the same day and decided to go warborn just for the “hey i’m using new stuff” syndrome.

didn’t try markovian…

I have about 20% life steal ( attach damage converted to healt ).
I have about 14k hit point and a 0.05 axe with 140% attack speed.

I do about 40k medium damage, and in teory my life every time i hit an enemy should grow up about 8k so i suppose my life is everytime full.

This not happens , i think i miss somenthing in this mechanism, can someone explain me better or link me a cearly tread.

thanx in advance

mmm i was thinking (yeah my brain got stucked on best possible gloves for warborn set) : what about https://gracefuldusk.appspot.com/items/7927-Colossal-Grasp ?

No atk speed nor OA but lot of DA and a HUGE phys dmg boost (more phys res as well!)
Maybe those multiple atk boost on warborn set can mitigate that speed loss on gauntlets?

Only weapon damage component is converted to health I believe. And only upto 100%. Bonus damage is not.

So for example if your attack mentions 143% weapon damage and 200 damage, only 100% weapon damage is converted to health.

I’m still flabbergasted at how effective and crazy this build is; my highest damage dealt is 140+k while being tanky as hell. I sense an incoming nerf…

It’s not just this build (class combo that can acheive these numbers and remauin tanky. Commando does this really well,

In this particular build, and others that might use Occultist it’s COF that needs to be toned down. It’s just too good for almost anything.

They are both great. Check out Drizzto’s setups for both markovian and warborn in post #700. They both have pros and cons.

Dont forget Blademaster
And I agree COF is a bit OP together with nights chill.
