[1.0.0.6] Markovian/Warborn Commando - Juggernaut - high physical dmg shield build + Crucible farmer

Super - On the devotions, I see you completed Hawk, but that is the only source of green I can find, and only 3. How have you unlocked Chariot of the Dead?

Think I can answer this one. Super was probably using the Falcon devotion as well for leveling up and that also gives 3 green. Once you get Chariot you get 3 additional green so then you can spec out of Falcon and still have a total of 6 green, which satisfies the requirements for Chariot in that regard.

Hawk and Charriot depend on each other:p

Tanakeah: End game take points out of oleron put in scholar light get charriot respec out of scholar and put back in oleron

Oh I know they do, just saying that some might want to use Falcon for leveling with its Falcon Swoop, and since that gives 3 green, that plus Hawk is enough to get ya Chariot. :stuck_out_tongue:

And sorry if you missed my question on the last page…copy and pasting it again here:

Thanks for the replies, glad to know those things and I’ll do some skill point rearranging for that. Oh, one other question, especially since this isn’t super clear to me. For some something like ā€˜Relentless’ that has the ā€˜% Chance of x-Physical Damage’…how does that work? Also, in that case, which would be better:

  1. % Chance of x-Physical Damage
  2. xx-xx Physical Damage

For the second one, I would assume that is damage that gets added to the min/max of the weapon’s damage range seen in the tooltip. That’s something I’ve always been confused on in this game and not sure of those to shoot for when it comes to the affixes that give them. Any insight on this?

Ah sorry i misread. I was indeed using falcon for leveling only.

Both choices are e tradeoff.

  1. It does get added to weapon damage. May give highest burst damage

  2. more reliable. I prefer this. Officer’s or Frenzied

In Theory relentless + Colossal grasp would give very high bursts but they are not reliable. I tried

What’s the overall pros and cons for Witchblade vs Commando when both focus on these 2 sets?

Witchblade Occultist side is all about Curse of Frailty, Blood of Dreeg and Aspect of the Guardian.
i.e. Resist debuff, Health Regen and OA, Physical and Poison Resistance.
Occultist gives less Attribute point than Demo.
Some may use Solael’s Witchfire,
Some may use Fevered Rage (risky).
Players can focus their points on Solider side.

On the other hand, Demo is one big treasure trove…This post is just one example of using it:)

Commando is very simple to play and has highest physical damage (because of temper). Is very tough with blast shield and overguard and more armor form temper.

Witchblade has lower damage but CoF for debuff (which has been nerfed). More regen and phys resistance but less OA because less cunning and less stats in genereal.

hey Superfluff,

thanks for sharing your build. I was wondering what skills did you assign to your celestial/devotion abilities? I read most comments but I could not find it in the guide or there.

Have a nice day

Hey,

It’s in the guide:)

Gameplay:

Blindfury - on Blitz works great with this build especially with the set proc it makes the build very reliable even more so in Crucible with high oa and lots of targets, it procs all the time allowing you to eliminate lage packs of mobs in no time
Assassins mark - on cadence
Dryad (if used) - on Warcry (This is good and reliable in crucible with Markovian proc)

Also note that there are two devotion links posted. one with more OA from Charriot and Dryad. And one with more DPS. I prefer the second one

What do you think about Blindfury on Cadence and Assassin’s Mark on Blitz?

It will rarely proc when you need it to. Blitz hits multiple targets or 2X but Assasin’s mark is only cast once per proc no matter how many targets. it’s highly unreliable. I even tried this with shadow strike that hits X4. It’s no fun. You are better off trying it on Black water cocktail with transmuter and it’s nice when it works but it’s clunky to use. Besides with markkovian especially blitz + Blind fury will just obliterate everything. I find it very satisfactory, it’s like you are a freight train:).

This!
This makes markovian funnier and safer to use on the commando.

thanks for the reply, but what about maul and targo’s hammer? It is part of the offensive setup link (1.0.0.7 update).

Maul is not but the rest of the Dire bear nodes are. % attack speed % Damage etc.

Targo hammer is part of both setups and in general any physical build with shield.

I understand now, thank you again!

Is there a certain pair of dreeg sect pants i should be looking for? I just got a pair of shrewd of the wolverine to drop should i keep farming for a different pair?

Anything with good resists. Mine are stonehide which is ok

For prefix stonehide. For suffix reptilian resilience. As this build lacks a ton of poison resistance.

Just wondering, assume official game guide’s formula is correct,
Probability To Hit (PTH) = ((((Attacker’s OA / ((Defender’s DA / 3.5) + Attacker’s OA)) * 300) * 0.3) + (((((Attacker’s OA * 3.25) + 10000) - (Defender’s DA * 3.25)) / 100) * 0.7)) - 50

And the crit threshold is 90, it means Fabius’ OA is 2180 also (PTH=90 when OA=DA)?
