Yeah but the recipe requires a riftscourge slicer to craft one lol
Thanks for the info, i went to Hargate’s lab a few times with no luck. I was doing most of my farming in the Warden’s Cellar but I’m gonna try the hidden path and the lab again.

Oh I see, I thought you meant finding a good one to use as a weapon, not as an ingredient. That’s even harder! Good luck, you will find one after a few runs.
Edit: Let me know if you want to do any co-op runs and I am happy to give you any that drop for me.
You wont believe it lol I dropped one first run in the hidden path! This just made my night haha!
I could still make runs with you though to find a better offhand, are you up for it right now?
Sure, just sent you a PM.
am just saying this build… can facetank madqueen with no issues and kill all nemesis hands down with no sweat broken, granted you know the relationship between timing your CB’s … enjoying this a lot…
gear:
Ring: Incorruptible Viloth Ring of Attack
Ring 2: Dreadlord Cronley of Nature Bounty
Shoulders: Preserving Zantarin Shoulderguards of kings
Panties: Stonehide Solael of Nature Bounty
Boots: Stonehide of Kings…
OA can be pushed further but I dont want any resistances to go below cap!

with LA up… and constant auras…
all credits to master edisonian!
Use a Prismatic Ikrix Scale of Attack
Give me one! but then again i dont want to lose my CB:undecided:
Not to be a party pooper over here but doesn’t a cold SS spell breaker do everything this build can do but better? Aka higher dps and faster kill times. But I guess you could play it for the fun factor
Also I dont want to be party pooper but if you are going to look like it that way, there is not much point in playing any other DW melee build or even any other build at all if you are playing vanilla only.
I got to say that game was never so unbalanced like now, cold/frostbur SB is so dominant in dmg output that noting is even close to it. Vanilla game wise is by far best. Even in old BM days BMs weren’t so dominant, not to mention that SB now can dish out more dmg than BMs could ever do.
Crucible wise tanky/shield casters are meta and noting can compare with them.
Game lost much of its original diversity, meta is more pigeonholed than ever and considering time and effort spent in ˝balancing˝ its more than disappointing.
I too have an SS breaker and he blows this guy out of the water
But this build is a bit more tankier though and more fun… I want to be in the edge when fighting bosses and I dont like killing MQ in less than 7 sec:mad:… so in that sense nonsense… this build is suited and better for me:rolleyes:
Having a blast with this one.
I will showcase a bit of gameplay with this toon in some future videos. You can check out the first one right here.
Just wanted to give this build a bump and state, that it is still very viable at 1.0.0.9.
glad to see someone liking this build like I do !
Wow really good build man! Keep it up!
This has been one of the best guides I have read. Very detailed. I am a new player and just started playing this build. Makes the game enjoyable and look forward to playing more. Do you have other builds that I may look at?
Click on his profile and look for threads by him in “Classes, Skills and Builds” section and you’ll see them
First and foremost I want to thank you very much for making this guide Edisonian! Extremely thorough and informative for a brand new player such as myself.
Grim Dawn is my first top down aRPG, and using this guide helped me start a great first character (currently lvl 67 / act 4 / elite), it is amazingly fun to play the venomblade and reminds me of a fury warrior with rogue poisons and engineering in vanilla wow. I’ve followed the guide completely (using all the same skills and devotions) and it has not let me down.
I did have one question though; in the section for endgame gear where you list what components and augments you should have on your gear, i was confused about where you add like + 7%A/7%C at the end.
Off Hand: Venomfang Rift Scourge Slicer of Alacrity/Fury/Voracity - Vitriolic Gallstone + Outcast’s Venom
Head: Cowl of the Venomblade - Leathery Hide/Sanctified Bone + 7%A/7%C
Chest: Stealth Jacket of the Venomblade - Chains of Oleron + 7%A/7%C
Pants: Nidalla’s Legwraps - Silk Swatch + 10%F/10%L
Shoulders: Prismatic Zantarin’s Shoulderguard of Vitality - Scaled Hide + 10%L/7%A
I just need a little clarity as a new player as to what that means just for a better understanding. Thanks a lot and keep up the great work.
check out spellward powder from the death vigil that grants you 10% Lightning Resistance 7% Aether Resistance…
go shopping at the faction vendors for the rest of your resistance requirements !
augments are pretty flexible and usually what you need depends with the gear you have…
enjoy!
Thanks for clearing that up! Appreciate it.
Video of my current 85 acid saboteur based off of this build doing steps of torment on ultimate.
edisonian , first off i like the way u present your builds , with the leveling guide , .
however the bassilisk is pretty old but is it still viable or will u redo that one.
the reason i ask is . its really out of date the skill points dont match up anymore , there is no way to get 8 points in lethal assault by lvl 10 .
but i really like the build and your guide is really clear and comprehensive.
really hope u will redo the basislisk or any other great melee build
thx
