[1.0.0.9] Dracarris Incarnate - Pet/Fire Hybrid Pyromancer, 6s Mad Queen, Solo Gladiator Extra Spawn

Looking forward to how this will look with Necro + Occult - Fiery Skellies of Fiery Damnation

^

Flame Touched is one of the major damage boosters to the swarmlings, so this build with Necro instead of Demo would be worse. This plus it seems Necro doesn’t suport Fire and not to mention the loss of Flashbang, transmuted BWC, Blast Shield and Thermite Mines.

I was thinking:

Enchanted Flint + StormSpirit + Hellfire + Bonds & Manipulation to get buffed up fire skellies.

Fire Vit/Fire/Chaos skellies

Though indeed a 22/12 does add a whole lot more fire damage to it.

Perhaps a 2 player team mode where you would have Demo + X; Necro + Demo - since the Flametouched would still work on your team mate’s skellies. Perhaps Demo + Inq?

I’m honestly more interested if it can make a Acid/Poison pet build actually viable, mainly because of the Blight Fiend.

Ok , thank i understand now

Something of a shower thought, and a different build in the end, but has anyone tried the Agrivix set with Decree of Aldrich? Similar idea but all fire would be converted to aether and the full Agrivix set provides more summons.

The summons from Agrivix’s set scale with player bonuses. I wouldn’t say Agrivix’s set works for a hybrid petmancer here as you lose a lot of important/nice gear pieces such as Dracarris, the Wyrmclaw and the Patron’s Mantle. It’s own build though? It could work.

Is the belt choice mostly for the +skills? Trying to understand it because most of the other stats don’t benefit pets right?

What’s the idead behind BWC in this build?
It doesn’t seem to do much damage compared to other skills. Does it’s “36 reduced target’s Offensive Ability” make noticeable effect on enemies dps?

It’s the transmuter that reduces enemy damage. Transmuted BWC is also one of the most efficient skills to trigger celestial powers.

You’ll want to have augments from both factions available to cap your resists regardless of any changes to your equipment setup (especially with the expansion coming). Thus, the best way to do this is to stockpile augments from one faction before switching to the other. Also, for this build you’d rather face Zantarin than Iron Maiden. See post #138 for further discussion.

Yes - most importantly for +skills to Flame Touched (to reach 22/12) but also for Blast Shield. Almost all pet builds lack armor and DA, so overleveling Blast Shield as much as possible is huge for survivability.

Don’t fall into the trap of chasing too hard after pet bonuses. See the “Equipment Notes” section of the Guide for a listing of equipment priorities. In short, survivability is more important than almost any pet bonus you can find.

Where to farm/how to get Bonescavenger’s Deathgrips hand please?

There’s no specific drop location for most legendaries. As a level 58 item, you can find it as a drop starting in Elite difficulty.

The fastest way to farm for legendaries in general is multiplayer Gladiator. For more details about endgame farming, refer to the “Equipment Notes” section of the Guide.

Thank you for taking the time to write such the most complete guide i ever saw on that forum, really awesome.

My next character wil be a summoner.
I have now a character capable of gladiator crucible farming, to get anything i need.

But i’m concerned about the very specific gear required for your build, MI can take so much time to get…
So if i don’t have almost any gear required, is the farming worth it compared to another summoner build like the pokemon or the lightning version? If not, what other summoner build would you recommend for solo gladiator crucible objective?

Thank to take time for answering!

Multiplayer ? uh…A little hard to find a multiplayer game in GD…Farming dynamite chest no good ? Kay will try the crucible thing.

Concerning the build i really hate the thermite mine skill ( apart for the reduce resistance it’s ugly skill), can i swap it for something else ? Any advice?

lvl 66 atm .

This build seems really fun. However it has way to many buttons for me to press. Is there any way to reduce the amount of buttons without ruining this build?

Firstly, MIs are not required for the build to function, but they will be BiS once you have them. For alternatives to MIs, refer to “Alternative Items” under Equipment Notes in the Guide.

Secondly, pet builds in general aren’t the best build archetype for soloing Gladiator. The Pokemon build can’t do it at all, and the post-nerf lightning conjurer can only manage it with extreme items/skill/luck/patience. Of all pet builds currently posted, this build is the best for soloing Gladiator. My original build post contains a video of this build soloing Gladiator Extra Spawn.

However, if you’re serious about soloing Gladiator, then the current meta for doing so is the soldier/shield build. The easiest and least gear-intensive is probably the BWC Commando.

No, there’s no alternative to substitute for the large RR provided by Thermite Mines. This is why virtually all fire-based demo builds use this skill.

I would practice and learn how to use them effectively. The key is to see the enemy coming, anticipate where the battle will be, and toss them with enough lead time for the mines to properly arm themselves.

Pet builds already remove the need to click-attack and most targeting functions. In terms of gameplay elements, further removing the need to press buttons for active skill use means that the only thing left for players to do would be… moving? Looting?

For this build, each and every ability used (including their attached devotion procs) contribute significantly to build performance, and there are no “wasted” skills to eliminate without significant performance impacts. Pet builds can be surprisingly active - just look at my hotbar in the build videos.

For a less active playstyle, you could consider a LMB-holding build such as a Cadence build, or even a retaliation build.

thank you for the answer

Can this build handle Moosilauke ? I want to say yes since you can do Crucible but I haven’t fought him in so long I don’t know if he has been buffed up or sort of succumbs to power creep since all the stuff that has come after him.

Yes, if a build can handle gladiator crucible solo, then it can handle anything that campaign can throw at it (never mind that Moosilauke appears in the crucible multiple times often accompanied by another Nemesis).
