More than likely it’s the item level… According to the GD Wiki, Enchanted Flint requires item level 25 and Guardsman’s Hammer seems to be item level 22.
It’s not Outcasts faction that you stock up on… you choose Outcasts in all difficulties… The faction you stock augments from is Order of Death’s Vigil which you choose in Veteran and Elite… Thrn in Ultimate you switch to Kymon’s… These are the two that you choose 1 from sometime in Homestead…
Augments are like components… Adds more properties to your item… And yes, you can have both on an item… Augments will overwrite any existing Augments if you apply another.
Not necessarily as much as possible… However, I haven’t played GD all that much to know how many items you would be upgrading with before you find the BiS (Best in slot), if any… Think about it… At level 50+ how many times have you changed your pants? Or boots… or chest… etc…
Probably just before you will be starting Ultimate…
Faction vendors are always the Quartermasters (of specific factions)…
You can follow the Equipment Priority list… Atm I’m using Death Omen (1H mace) which has +3 to CoF and +300 health (among others), until I can find Dracarris … no idea if I will ever find it either… heh… I was using the Rover faction scepter before Death Omen…
Why not add item level to the description of Enchanted Flint? Odd. Besides that, if Guardsman’s Hammer were level 25, can I have both Enchanted Flint and Searing Ember attached to the hammer?
Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way of seeing item level in-game. You can load your character on the grimtools.com site in the build calculator area and see the item levels there… Or check said site’s item database and do a search… Or check GD wiki sites…
You have to complete the entire constellation, as in placing 5 Devotion points into Shepherd’s Crook. Which includes Shepherd’s Call (the 5th point) that you will bind to Blackwater Cocktail…
Edit: Unless stated otherwise, you should complete all constellations that are listed in the guide… 11 and 12 are partial constellations.
Reached level 67, doing AoM on Elite. Need some advice to choosing the factions on elite for AoM as the guide mainly focuses on pre-expansion.
I just confronted Scorve Egdenor in Barrowhelm, the quest is called A Witch’s Bargain. Either I befriend him or attack him, i’m assuming this is a faction choice and im not sure which one to pick on elite and which one for ultimate.
I was hoping someone could write up a little table for what faction to choose for elite and ultimate in AoM =) It would be very much appreciated.
quick and easy answer: If you want Barro’s awesome pet augments/claw, you’ll probably want to do the chore Scorv gives you. There’s further options once you take it. But if you are an RP player and you don’t like Barro, it’s your judgment call. Hope it helps. (P.S. You could always try doing it differently on another toon to see the result and determine how to go with this toon.)
Hard to judge it against newer masteries because I went into AoM with a fully geared Drac build vs self found cabalist, but speaking from gameplay, it runs just fine. Bog was a little tiresome because of hound attrition from poison (until you adapt).
Drac is probably my favorite pet build against Koopa though. It’s still tedious but it’s the least tedious pet build I run against that weeny and makes the quickest work of him.
Thermite mines and auto-pet spawn go a long way towards that match up. Haven’t had the opportunity to explore the bonus material with Drac yet but I expect reliable performance once I finish collecting the myth gear and leveling.
Does anyone have an update on this build for AoM?
Pretty much the same thing but just using mythical gear and mix and matching newer components to keep resists high?
