I think this build is stronger than fire strike purifier dw in terms of damage. Pure Chaos and you still have WPS everywhere. Looks cooler too dark red magic bullets:p

I wonder if going defensive like this https://www.grimtools.com/calc/lV7A71wN would make sense or the tradeoff on dmg will be too big? (going for 3 points in Obelisk of Menhir for DA / Armor) I still don’t have the full gear so using some improvisations.

(rolls in the GT do not represent my exact gear, as i save on cloud, can’t just load my char 1:1 so i did not bother with augments for resists etc)

Not worth imo. You loss not only direct damage and attack speed, but also ADCtH, those changed do nothing for your survivability.

Hey I am pretty new, this is my second build. What skills do we bind the devotion skills to? Also where do I allocate attribute points? And I have two bloodsworn repeaters, but I am not sure where to get the guns you have. Where do they drop, or how do I go about obtaining them? Thanks so much!

Hey, open the grimtools link, press S and go Devotions page. There are all skills and devotion bindings. Attribute all in physique. Pistols drop everywhere.

Another quick question. I see you have the gun which enables you to dual wield. This is my second build and I dont have that gun yet, so is it okay to use the relic, i believe its called the gunslingers talisman until I can find the correct gun which enables me to dual wield? Wasn’t sure how vital the relic is to this build.

Yes. That’s completely fine. Alternatively, you can use the marauder belt (or chest piece…I forget which) which allows you to DW guns as well.

  1. Why you use Mantle of Black Flame? Isn’t myst. Shadowflame Mantle looks better for that character?

  2. How about changing Entropic Coil to Lifegiver signet?

  1. I already have Brimstone capped, so Shadowflame Mantle is useless here. I prefer Black Flame due to OA, but Malmouth Void Pauldrons also possible.
  2. There is enough sustain and Entropic Coil is a big damage burst, but you’re free to use ring you like :wink:

Darkblaze set is good. Got the last set piece this weekend and switched to full chaos pyro. This thing melts everything so fast. My record dmg dealt in MC is 240k now.
The only issue is applying rr. Mines are crap qol, and I can’t find a good skill to bind Eldritch fire to (FS is taken by Abomination proc). So far I bind it to BWC, but it’s not ideal.
I went for both Dying God and Abomination, sacrificing the defense, so I’m rather low on DA and resists, but I assume glad150 is still doable. Will try later.

Have you tried this build with 3 piece justicar (minus helm)? The armor would help quite a bit and the flat fire would convert so the loss on damage might not be so bad. It might be worth the dmg loss for an increase in tankiness. Loss of those plus skills can’t be helped though.

I’m leveling a pyro to try this build out. My friend has one and it works pretty well in crucible.

just wow ! i never expected that chaos dmg can deal these amount of ridic dmg output.
i always found chaos dmg pretty meh in GD and never played it at all due to lacking good amount of RR and getting trash RR skills like mines and acid spray etc.

the moment build melted reaper which has 98 chaos res btw! caught me so hard wp man.
