6 Months ago I aked for some help with this char and got some good feedback on fallback builds to farm for materials. I was wondering if I had to quit and start all over because Ugdenbog was a wall I could not cross.
I swallowed my pride and farmed for a week the beehive and Broken Hills (with some hidden path thrown in there and finally upgraded to the mythical versions of nearly all my equipment).
I would like to ask for some more feedback on what to do next:
-Assuming I get the mythical head for the sharpshooter set, can I farm Fabius with this build or will it be impossible to burn him?
-Do I still have to farm the beehive for the full mythical justice set or is there another good place for item farming?
-Can this build survive the crucible?
And on a more general note:
With all BIS - can this build kill all the superbosses? Mog, Grava, Kraken, Ravager?
If you are are starter and want to do trading and multiplayer , hit me up on steam or discord and i can help you out with some stuff
my question here is , which components andrelics are good for leveling this toon . Normally I take burning weapon, but this does not work here . What were your choices and why ?
Depends on what you got. If you are a new player, DW is probably gonna be easier until you find a really kickass 2H ranged weapon. IF you can get your hand on 2 pistols with attack speed, you´ll be able to trigger the Inquisitor weapon passives more often etc.
But if you do level with a 2H, get Kraken asap. You´ll want to stack as much attack speed as possible.
I’ve had loads of fun with 2h. FS+Flame touched+Bursting round will blow stuff appart. When you get Chilling rounds single target becomes even more bowerful. Get a Rifle of Alacrity for starters. If you have a Brimstone repeater it’s nice. In act 3 Conflagration you can get an Incinerator Rifle. Again, anything with attack speed works very well.
It starts a bit slow for the first 10 levels. You can use Fireball spell from searing ember to get there fast
Thank you very much for the pointers. I’ll stick to doing some runs on hive (got 3/5 of mythical Ulzuin set, so hell knows, maybe I’ll jury rig something there) and pushing for some nemesis fights.
I took your advice and went to the trading board and it looks great! hope I can get all the pieces soon.
I went with full fire for the synergy with elemental damage, I was using seal of blades on the weapon before but wanted to try to do 3% more damage.
All in all, my target will always be the tanky version of this build but I’m still stuck in transition until I can get full justice. My goal for now is to be buff enough to start facetanking elites and maybe facetank fabius.
Also I really want to know if it would be possible to kill all the superbosses in ultimate with this core build. I really want this to be my main (I tried tactician but it felt like a chore to level it up and Infiltrator too squishy).
That’s right: I know that most combinations of soldier + X can be suitable for killing Mog, Ulgrim, Ravager, The kraken, etc, but maybe this build can be a close second for standing your ground?
But I’m tempering my expectations, I’d be happy to get a build that can facetank nemesi (I think that’s the plural of nemesis) and the final bosses from the places of power.
This build can face tank any Nemesis not a problem. ravager and Mog also should not be a problem. It just needs the right tweaks. Naturally giving up some offense for defense, lifesteal etc.
Personally i’ve never taken this build to mog or ravager but I see no reason why it couldn’t be done.
It´s nemeses, actually. And yes, I had to look that up.
Anyway, I doubt that build can kill superbosses, but I´ve never tried it. Nemeses are fairly easy though. I gave Superfluffs build a go a while ago, but found it lackluster, mainly because it´s more or less the 2h rifle version of the purifier build I had been playing for a long time. So I tried it with the Ulziin Set and a few minor tweaks to the devotion setup, and it´s really fun. Tanky, but impressive dmg output still.
Superboss builds (Mog and Ravager, Lokarr and Bourbon are easy for most normal builds) are often specialized builds only for those bosses, meaning this build as it is probably won’t do it. However, if you tweak the build according to what you need for ravager/mog then you’ll probably be able to achieve a superboss killer, in exchange for some general usability. You can always respec after the kill.
Right, didn´t think of the Clone Army and Lokarr. Tried both just now, they are doable. Lokarr wasn´t easy (wanted to facetank him, ouch), but went down fairly quick nonetheless, died once to the Clone Army, because I let myself be cornered. Silly me.
Still, good to know. And i got 2 pieces of the Dark One´s Gift set, which is nice.
As long as it’s possible, I’ll try figuring out the rest for myself.
Right now I’m trying to get through this equipment roadblock (jury rigging into 2200 DA and1500 defense alrady) so that’s what I’ll be focusing on now.
I got the Ulzuin Chest and Rifle, if you need those, we can trade. Helm i can craft. Just fyi. PM me.
Funny story actually, I got the blueprints for mythical head, the belt and 3 copies of the gun 30 minutes appart from each other. I got so mad that I diassembled 1 of the guns. I guess the game has a very wicked sense of humor, but thank you for the offer regardless.
Hey what do you put your attribute points in while leveling? I didnt see it in any of the pages i looked at and i looked at a majority of them. I would like to try this build out. It looks like a lot of fun.
