Guys, sorry, but the game is so easy at this stage, just try whatever you want and see if it works for you or not! How about being a bit independent and not completely relying on guidance for skill allocation during every level?
You do realize the whole point of posting builds in the forum is to share how you made it. That when people ask for help it because they enjoy the way the build looks and plays but they dont always know how to do it themselves. Not everyone has hundreds of hours into this game and know everything.

Popping in to blogpost a little bit about my progress:
-currently at 3/4 Justice set (missing the chest piece but I’m doing fine without it)
-using belt and chest piece of the justice set - not too tanky but it does provide a nice dps boost
-Golemborne greaves are saving me 20% of the time thanks to their procs
-Got a 200K crit once
-Fabius’ status: oficially seen. I’m farming him quite a lot but I don’t know why, even on ultimate, I’m not getting a guaranteed mythical legendary or a blueprint. I’ve had scores of disappointing runs but that’s the rng for you. I should have read the fine print (technically better means you maybe get 2 mythicals instead of 1 per hour).
-Lits of things I’ve facetanked: Sharzul, Alkalemos, Valbury’s Overseer, Fabius (even with the notched blade and his phantasmal blade summons), the Kraken (killed it with 500 hp left)
-List of things I’ve facetanked and kited: the rest of the nemese and the Mad Queen.
-List of things that have killed me: the end boss of the ancient grove (and just because I ran into some sort of area that oneshotted my hp - in other words - because I was being stupid).
In short: equipment wise, I’m about 40% of OP’s design but I’m still very comfortable. Thank you very much for all the help!
Use mark of divinity vs MQ for no kite. Overcap blast shield so you shold have BS proc first and MoD after
What. The. Actual. F*ck is wrong with this build? I made a hack character at 100 on Ultimate, gave it some crap legendaries I had in the stash, still missing a chest and helm (as in not equipped), had some random vendor yellow and green for boots and shoulders and I’m still hitting like a semi truck. I can only imagine with gear this hits like an absolute freight train pulling 100 cars behind it. You can easily call it the Chinese New Year build too, very sparkly.
You had me worried for a moment and then I read on:p It is indeed a pleasure to level this build and late game you just need the resistances in order.
You sir are not fit to sit amonst mere mortals. Seriously this build is giving my pet Cabalist a run for its money on how fun and over the top it is. My new character is named JohnWick.

Pretty much the same as before. Changes to the Inquistor class are negligible.

What changes in the patch would lead you to believe it’s outdated:p The set got a minor nerf that doesn’t really hurt. Blast shield is better. Overall not affected by the patch in any significant way. A fraction less dmg and a bit more tanky Even with inquis changes
Get Toad, Hawk, Ascendant Crossroad and 3 points in Rhowan crown for Elemantal storm.
Then get Ghoul for even easier safe gameplay. After this go for Kraken. Viper. You will need another blue devotion like Lizard to unlock Kraken. After Karken buy back the blue devotion

Playing with a similar build. Really like the look of this one. I love dual wielding 2h weapons but have not found an option to do this in GD-AoM. What am I missing?
akdong build is tremendously good if you mean dual-wielding 1h ranged weapon. You can’t dual wield 2h weapons in GD.
From what I can tell of my limited Grim Dawn experience, you maxed Flame Touched (excluding the points from items and that), but according to the hotbar, you’re not using it (assuming the hotbar is correct). How come? As far as I can tell, you should be able to have it running all the time without any setbacks in energy upkeep.
The icon isn’t on the hotbar but it appears in the grimtool page, in the right above corner, where you have 3 switch buttons “BUFF ON/OFF”. Toggled auras are generally not displayed on the main action bar.

Mythical Sharpshooter set instead. With 3 of the items, you get +1 for both Masteries… When adding the last item, you get an explosive round that hits like a nuke…
Sharpshooter Rifle is crap. Burning Purifier, Flame Keeper Repeater, Hellborne, Hellmaw shotgun, Even Ulzuin Flamespreader is better than Sharp rifle even with the 4set bonus. Brimstone set however is awesome for leveling, it literally carried me from 65 to 94 with ease

I wanted to share my cents on the current patch. I got a bit burned (pun intended) when I was killd by the grove’s boss when it was ata sliver of health in its second phase and then got killed in the second to last wave of the Crucible - so I stopped for a few months.
Came back now with the following loadout (same one I left last year - november or so)

3/4 Mythical Justice (missing chestpiece) + 2/5 Mythical Sharpshooter; elemental balance rings + golemborne boots + Desolator.
Back then I could farm Fabius on autopilot, facetank all of his attacks (even with the notched blade of 1000 cuts) while now it’s a conflip (takes 1-2 deaths every time I fight him).
I like using Fabius as my benchmark because it’s the middle of the road Nemesis so it’s a good gauge on how to adapt my playstyle (the ideal would be a turret purifier, only moving out of AOE).
So in the end, I think that unless you have the 4 set piece mythical - don’t bother switching out of sharpshooter. 5 piece is good enough for farming even if my ass was glass (then again, I preferred the full set bonus rather than jury rigging 3 together)
